Roy Jones is becoming a nut case.

Seems self-preservation is not part of RJJ's mentality.

I take it Roy is broke? Surely he must be if he feels the need to carry on boxing at this stage of his career.

man he must be broke, completely.

how do these multi millionaires run through all that loot and end up with
          nothing?

          sad

Never thought i would see an "8" in the loss column on Roy Jones's record...

Sadly, I think he could get to double digits.

You can say he still fights because of x, or because of y, and it may be true, but he really enjoys the sport. For that I applaud him.
Applauding Jones fighting at his advanced age with diminished skills is like standing on the curb and applauding a severe car accident.

RJJ is a very interesting case, as he seems to love fighting more now than he did when he was p4p no1.

People say he does it for the money, but does he? It might be the main reason, but there must be something else as well? Hes achieved everything and is a living boxing legend. I think there is no fear of losing an unbeaten record that makes it easier to get in the ring. Its just a job now, and if he wernt boxing what else would he do? And maybe being knocked unconscious isnt as scary as it once was for him, and its not as bad as he thought it was? But his mate Gerald mcelland should be a reminder.
Any win at this point is a bonus for him

apparently the author never read anorak's post about 'could care less' and couldn't care less.

                    retire Roy.

Hopefully Tarver's IBO cruiserweight title will be up for grabs since he tested positive for steroids. I hope Jones gets a shot at it, claims a victory over one of these prospects, and then retires.
