RJ is not broke...this guy just enjoys fighting. The last two times Jones went overseas to fight, he made approximately 4 million dollars for the Green fight and probably near the same against Lebedev. So, I bet he's making at least 1 to 2 million or more for this fight against Glazewski. Plus this fight is pay per view. At this point in his career, he wouldn't come close to bringing in that kind of money in the US. Heck, Bobby Gunn offered Jones 50 thousand dollars to fight. I'm still like... What.... 50k!! Gunn couldn't be serious but he was very serious. So that match didn't happen but James Toney took the bait and beat Gunn back into retirement....Lol!!
In my opinion, if RJ wins against Glazewski, which I believe he will, his pay days is only going to continue to go uphill. Superman must get a W in Vintage Jones fashion and if he does, the Wlodarczyk fight will be inked in on paper before his plane lands on US soil, so there's another 4 or 5 million in the bank. RJ has a lot of Polish fans, they love Jones over there and they are willing to pay to see him fight or he wouldn't be making millions for one night of work. I don't blame RJ for not retiring just yet. There's work still to be done, titles up for grabs and millions of dollars waiting to be banked. Go get em RJ!!!
