Too many times for Ortiz. He is in good fights and he has quitted before.

Now it feels that if he is in a fire fight he will quit again.

The Berto fight brought him some redemption but that has almost evaporated.

The worst thing that happened to Ortiz is having that Canelo fight lined-up

thats actually a ****** statement. Cotto did quit against Pacquiao. His way of quitting was going on his bicycle and running away and stopping to engage.
no disrespect to Cotto, he is one of my favorite fighters, but what u say there is simply not true

Cotto fought to a stoppage. VS Ortiz said I quit!

          BIG difference!

There's a big difference in quiting cause the fighter got his jaw, hand, nose, cheek or orbital broken(even thou there are fighters that have fought threw that) & B I T C H I N G OUT cause the fighter said he got hit too hard or too much, & That's exactly what Ortiz did against Maidana & even admitted it & even considered quitting the sport!.. This time against Josesito was sort of acceptable cause of the situation his in now, but that still doesn't excuse what he did against Maidana & if he's ever in that type of a fight again, Ortiz most likely quit again..

So, I guess Juan Diaz is a b*tch too for letting boxing go in favor of law school?

Victor did the right thing against Lopez. It was a smart choice.

Boxing still has its fair share of neanderthal followers, I guess...

After all those uppercuts he was eating, it was a pretty brave effort.

wtf are you smokin dude? ortiz got his jaw broke in the beginning of round 9, and when he went back to his corner, his corner was tellin him to be quiet so the ref wouldnt stop it, and ortiz himself quit, nothing at all in the least to do with his corner. they were pissed off after he said he was done. ortiz is a quitter, plain and simple. people dont agree with the backlash? good for them. fighters dont appreciate that kind of stuff, sorry if it offends anyone. but ortiz didnt have enough guts to go out there, therefore he is a quitter. you're a boxer, this isnt a healthy sport, and you cant just quit when you dont feel like fighting anymore, ESPECIALLY when you can win on the cards. gtfo

Juan Diaz didnt quit in the ring to finish Law School! LMFAO!!!!! If the sport is to rough for you....Try Golf! No wait. You could hurt your elbow!

People who who feel quitting in a fight is the right thing to do...shouldnt be watching fights. Fighters dont quit. Thats why as rules in Boxing are stated before each fight.... You can ONLY be saved by the Bell or not...and/or Only a Doctor or Ref can stop a fight, depending on where they are fighting and whos rules they are following.
Pnssies quit. Peroid! I guess Boxing has its fair share of pus$ies followers, I guess! Back at ya!
