He never said or implied that though... He stated Top Rank Promotions' "great offer" > Mayweather Promotions' and any other companies' offer...

Vargas has good boxing ability, but not enough to overpay to resign him. He's looked stronger at 147 than he has at 140, but he still needs more time to develop before facing a titleholder.

A better offer than what Mayweather promotions offered.

The highlighted is a "nice way" of putting it. Being straight-forward would say he feels Top Ranks offer was better than Mayweather's offer.

If he didn't feel Top Rank promotions was better than Mayweather's promotions, he would still be with Mayweather Promotions.

There's no bad blood between Vargas and Mayweather. Vargas didn't leave Mayweather because he felt like Mayweather when Mayweather left Arum; Vargas just left Mayweather because Top Rank had the better deal = he feels Top Ranks >>>>> M.P.

            The deal Floyd offered up.

Khan said he will fight Vargas.

The Floyd went back on his word and took Vargas's title shot away from him.

No... He doesn't have to feel Top Rank Promotions is better than Mayweather Promotions to stay there. If MP matched TR's offer, that would've been implied, but it wasn't.

Vargas wouldn't be the first fighter to leave a promotional company due to a promise of more money regardless if they felt the company were better or not. Top Rank has the resume of being the best developer of stars, but Gamboa just did the opposite; Donaire tried to do the same; Mayweather did it. Outside of boxing, how many players have gone to a worse team because of a better offer.

I remember Khan saying he would fight Vargas since Mayweather said he would have to win against Vargas before he received a shot at him. Nothing ever came of it. If Mayweather reneged, it was because he and his team knew Jessie wasn't ready for it. Did him a favor because he still needs time to develop.

I understand what you're saying, but wouldn't more money equate to better?

Let's face it, guys now a days fight for the money and to make a living?

Outside of money, how could a promotional company not be better to a fighter by giving him more money? Unless, you're talking about promotional companies speaking politely to fighters or something along those lines...

i remember that too. what this fool is saying is that there was an actual agreement between the fighters, which there is absolutely no evidence to suggest.
