I wonder what cut Mayweather takes. His deals is probably as bad as the Klitschko's

I doubt Floyd is losing to much sleep over this, given that he may sign Gamboa now.

Vargas is alright, he'll be a solid contender, nothing more.

It was agreed verbably. As soon as Khan said he we will fight Vargas, Floyd backtracked.

Cost Vargas a shot at big time.

To be fair, it's kind of hard to fight and still have your hand in promotions at the same time. One has to give.

DLH tried that and failed miserably.

Because Floyd admitted he was getting Vargas some exposure.....which is exactly what happened.

He would have had a lot more exposure if he would have fought Khan.

And in that move it showed Vargas on how Mayweather thought of him.

Even though it is business, and he's only looking out for himself which is the best thing he can do, and they supposedly left on good terms. It's still a pretty controversial move to go join the enemy/rival of a friend/team.

This can be applied to almost anything in life.

If the Yankees and Derek Jeter couldn't come to agreement with a contract, and Jeter leaves to the Boston Red Sox[Yankees long time rivals], and "it's all business". Fans would know there's a little bit more than business going on there, no matter how many smiles and handshakes there are when parting ways.

It's something Vargas would never say, and it's something Floyd would probably not care about. But no matter what this article says, there's more to Vargas joining TR out of all the promotional companies out there. GBP can give Vargas just as much, if not more exposure. But why not join them? They're Mayweather Promotions partners, didn't you want to stay associating yourself with Floyd?

"I don't see him becoming a champion at all".

I know what you mean by "champion", you mean a legit titleholder, by beating another legit titleholder, no vacant fights against scrubs, or picking on the weakest champion to get a belt.

But let's face it, with The Ring Title, WBC, WBC Interim, WBC Diamond, WBC Silver, WBC Emeritus, WBA Super, WBA Regular, WBA Interim, WBO, WBO Interim, IBF, and other titles like IBO, NABF, NBA, MLB, NFl, NHL, NSL, WWE, ETC. In every weight class.

It's actually gonna be very hard for Vargas NOT to be a titleholder.

Being in Top Rank would make Vargas a champion right away. He's a Mexican who speaks English and has a fan friendly style. They'll get him a vacant title or a belt against a weak champ. It's what Top Rank is best at.
