best of luck to Vargas, Cameron Dunkin seems like a good Manager and he is able to get his fighters big fights and good Pay Days

fans just love to ASSUME THINGS, it is no different then Devon Alexander leaving Don King for GBP or Bradley leaving Gary Shaw for Top Rank, fighters should make the best Decision for themselves and fans should respect it instead trying to tell fighters what they SHOULD DO!

smh, still think he made a mistake but dunkin a great manager... he made a hell of a lot more money with Floyd then he would of with anyone else... Floyd got him in the door and now the kid can go cashout somewhere. cuz lets face it, i dont see him becoming a champion at all... what do i know though lol

Who cares. Vargas isn't a star and I don't see him becoming one in the future. Mayweather gave him two great opportunities to fight on his last two under cards. The fight with Josesito Lopez was entertaining but I kinda thought Lopez deserved the nod in that fight but it could have gone either way. My opinion of Vargas dropped after his pathetic fight with Forbes. It was an awful performance by his part.

TRP is a solid company. It's just too much BS that comes with Bob Arum. Their match making process does leave some to be desired though. When placed in a column with GBP, you can see that GBP has no problem with putting young champions in their respective primes in the ring to see who's the better man on that night. They worked with DiBella to put on the FOTY with Berto and Ortiz last year. They are putting Ortiz in with Lopez and if he makes it, he goes in with Alvarez in Sept. TRP dropped the ball with Gamboa and Lopez. They wanted to build it until it became bigger than what it was at it's height and they blew it altogether.

Vargas feels that he can do big things with TRP and I don't blame him for feeling that way. After all, look at what Dunkin has done for Bradley. He took a heavy shot in the media but it was all worth it for him right now and I'm sure Dunkin is the man of the hour in the Bradley Estate (now it's an estate. Before 6-9-12 it was just a household). Vargas may know that Mayweather and Golden Boy Promotions would put him in there with a fighter who would knock his ass out. Where as TRP will nudge him along ever so gently by strategically matching him up with fighters who are there to make him look better than what he is. Put some one sided domination fights put together along with some drumming up and they can talk Vargas into having a buzz. With Mayweather and GBP he would have to earn it.

With nothing negative to say about Mr. Vargas, I wish him the best of luck but I will not spare him if TRP put him in with a fading or washed up fighter and expect us to believe he's better than what he is. I still remember his fight with Josesito Lopez and he didn't impress me. Lopez is a fighter who comes to fight with a good chin and he didn't do too much to turn my head. We'll see where this goes but TRP is a company that will cause one of their fighters to get exposed when everyone, even the fighter himself, starts to believe the 'hype'. Look at Rios after the Abril fight. A ton of negative feedback and I'm not sure if that's what Vargas wants for himself. Vaya Con Dios Jesse and let's see what you got.

Vargas made the decision that was best for him so you can't knock him for that but the fact of the matter is Vargas sucks and I doesn't matter what promotional company he's with, he will get exposed very soon.
