If a fighter takes 1 hit of marijuana before a fight...will he have NO marijuana in his system or next to nothing?

SO steroids can be taken as long as its a little....barely over next to nothing?
Then the question raises another? Would the one hit help someone in a fight? Should an entire event get canceled over one hit or should they fight and the one hit boxer get fined?

A reading is a sliding scale from its highest level to its lowest , when is it the test done in relation to that , when can a gain be made that gives an advantage , there are too many variables that will only complicate things into a system that defeats its own purpose .

ZERO tolerance for banned substances is the only way this can go , if you test above a set point your over and out , no if buts or maybes !

The contingency plan is the fighters are fined big and insurance is taken out against a positive test by the fighters themselves .

Now what happens if say some one was cycling a steroid and was just coming off and the test showed "next to nothing". The effects of that drug have all ready taken place so in this instance is it ok for the fight to go on? No it is not.

Ask the opponent that question if that one hit has the real possibility of them losing , its not a good analogy to compare trivial things to major things , it will never be a true perspective !

then my question would be....why are you breaking the rules when you know what the rules are...

1 beer would be over the legal alcohol limit if you get pulled over for su****ion of DUI.....isnt 1 beer, next to nothing? It is....but is it still illegal to drive a vehicle under the influence of 1 beer? YES it is...no mattwe how you spin it...its breaking the rules...

next when has marijuana considered a PED? Yes an entire event should be cancelled if someone test positive fpr PEDs....

should someone whos pulled over for su****ion of driving under the influence but claims to have drank next to nothing be allowed to drive home so the cop can see if he gets into an accident before determining if he was infact drunk or not?

For once, Arum may have a point in this case.

But what i'm wondering is, Arum is so venomous against fighters who are not in his stable. Especially against a DiBella fighter like Berto. So why is he so protective of these two fighters? They're not future Top Rank fighters, hell no, not with Berto being advised by Al Haymon. And Peterson already turned down the chance to be a TR fighter.

Any one else think, Arum might be seeing Peterson and Berto as one of his kids, because Arum's kids juice up? Remember, Chavez Jr avoided getting tested in Texas in his last fight, and Pacquiao avoids random blood testing like the plague.

Bob is looking at Peterson and Berto as one of his guys, because maybe his guys and Berto/Peterson have more similarities than we think, and it's not that they're all boxers.

The Berto fight most definately should go on. He's not a cheat based on what he tested for. Now, unfortunately for him, he's viewed as a steroid user and a cheat. His career took a severe blow.

Peterson, maybe he had a legit excuse but he f'd up, so that's on him. They could have let everyone know the medial reasons and everything would have been ok, but they didn't.

Hey Bob how do you think the opponent is gunna feel being punched by a guy that tested positive ?

How do you think its going to mentally effect an opponent knowing the guy he will be facing tested positive to PEDS ?

What happens if with a death in the ring and the guy that killed the other tested positive to PEDS and was allowed to fight ?

For a lawyer he is pretty self centered and dumb at times !
Damn this idiot is desperate to find an excuse to why Pacman beat up his favorite fighter..
