I think Foreman would keep coming forward and deliver concussive blows that would end the bout within 6.
So a one dimensional plodder with pop stops a technical giant that has never been knocked down in close to 50 fights? I see

That's what made Foreman so deadly, he was basically a punching machine

he loaded up all his shots, they were not the fastest, but he hit you with shots from all angles with timing

You can see a baseball bat coming at you, but when it lands somewhere it's going to hurt

So Vitali didn't hold on to LL when he was hit with a uppercut? he knees buckled, he was hurt

Foreman hits harder than LL, and with more punch output from different angles

Vitalis face would be a mess

Foreman would have also more than likely floored LL

In what world did vitalis knees buckle? He commonly gets deserved credit for his chin from taking them shots without being hurt or staggered. Both fighters were tired and were holding here and there. Not only that, lennox was one of the biggest and most skilled heavies ever. George telegraphed his shots too much to have been effective against vitali. I understand he fought in alis time and all and like the others from that era were over rated but he just didnt have the skills to beat vitali, who has never been out boxed or knocked down.

If Chris Byrd could walk Vitali down and effectively pressure him until the point where he felt the need to wave the white of surrender... He'd be literally shitting himself with Foreman storming towards him unloading bombs. Vitali has been proven easy to hit when his reach advantage is negated (See: Hoffman & Lennox fights). And he doesn't have the hand or footspeed or elusiveness to be able to avoid Foreman's shots and keep him off of him. And with that clumsy ass footwork that Vitali has, the ring would be cut off in an instant and he would be forced against the ropes/corner and get wailed on. He's not fast or coordinated enough to box with Foreman.

Also don't think he can really hurt Foreman. Couldn't even hurt shaky jaw'd Lennox and he threw the kitchen sink at him. Prime Briggs hit a nearly 50 year old Foreman with big shots and he didn't even blink. It'll be a miracle if Vitali made it past 6 against Foreman without either being layed out face down (or ass down) on the canvas or quitting on his stool after a savage beating.

Nice try, byrd was getting his a55 kicked until vitali was injured. So in theory, unless vitali gets injured, big (average today) george would get out smarted, out fought and out endured against vitali.

I haven't watched that fight for quite some time, but I think that Byrd really did bring the fight to him and put on a lot of pressure.

Vitali got better probably as his career went on.

There can obviously never be a resolution to fantasy fights, nobody will ever know, and it is all just speculative.

I think that smart fantasy money though is on prime fantasy Foreman over prime fantasy Vitali.

That is only my opinion though.

                    Both are completely excellent fighters.

go watch it, vitali was in total control until he injured himself. A case could be made that byrd was elusive and helped cause the injury, but thats not really winning a fight in my book. Byrd was completely ineffective until vitali was hurt.
