OR we could look at what Manny and Floyd have made from their recent fights, where a 50 - 50 split is the only logical move for either fighter.

Floyd is 35. He says he'll retire at the age of 37, which is a reasonable age to retire for a part-time boxer with millions of dollars in the bank. I don't think a guy with fears of losing his zero would still go on fighting at that age.

So he's got one year and a half left to decide whether to fight Pacman or not. Fans also have the same time left for ending the speculation.

Upfront Cost of the fight is split 50-50 between Floyd and Arum.

Revenue is split 50-50 between Floyd and Arum.

What Arum gives Manny is between them and doesn't concern Floyd.

Floyd may end up making way more because he doesn't have a promoter or whatever but that's Mannys problem not his, any other way is BS and is roadblock.

As of right now 50/50 is fair, but if May-Cotto did something crazy like 1.8 he really does have a case for 60/40 or at least 55/45. At this point arguing against 50/50 is kinda pointless because it is 50/50 now more than ever.

What, you never heard a professional fighter use health as an excuse to duck a fight before? They give and take a beating for a living, there's no other way around that. There's fools on the self preservation bandwagon that need to be taught a lesson, including yourself.
