Its pretty simple.

Upfront Cost of the fight is split 50-50 between Floyd and Arum.

Revenue is split 50-50 between Floyd and Arum.

What Arum gives Manny is between them and doesn't concern Floyd.

Floyd may end up making way more because he doesn't have a promoter or whatever but that's Mannys problem not his, any other way is BS and is roadblock.

Prior to the Cotto fight, which may do quite well....

Manny’s last fight in November against Juan Manuel Marquez drew 1.41 million PPV buys, while Floyd’s fight last September against Victor Ortiz drew 1.25 PPV buys.
Floyd’s fight with Marquez in 2009 drew 1 million PPV buys.

Pacquiao’s fight with Antonio Margarito in 2010 drew 1.5 million PPV buys, while Mayweather’s fight Shane Mosley drew 1.4 million PPV buys. Despite Mosley being perceived as a shot fighter, Pacquiao drew 1.3 million PPV buys in their May 2011 fight.

In total Pacquiao’s last three fights have drawn 3.86 million PPV buys, while Mayweather’s last three fights have pulled in 3.65 million PPV buys. In summation Pacquiao drew in 210,000 more PPV buys than Mayweather did. When you take into account the higher number of PPV buys that Pacquiao’s fights have drawn it translates into a cool $10,000,000 in cash.

It is true that the Floyd Mayweather – Oscar De La Hoya fight in May 2007 drew a record 2.4 million PPV hits. Many boxing observers largely attribute the high PPV numbers in that fight to the extreme popularity of the Golden Boy, Oscar De La Hoya and the fact that it was held on the Cinco De Mayo holiday.

But Pacquiao’s recent higher PPV numbers only tell part of the story. In the same three fights Pacquiao sold out the venues, while Mayweather’s last three fights were not sold out. In addition, when Manny Pacquiao fights at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas a significantly higher number of high rollers from Asia fly into Vegas for his fights. The economic impact in Las Vegas for a Pacquiao fight far outstrips that of any other fighter.

In a study by CSE, an integrated sports and marketing firm, Pacquiao is one of only two boxers in the 2012 Power Rankings of the most powerful athletes in the world. Manny is ranked at number 28. Mayweather is ranked 49th in the same study. Both on and off field accomplishments are taken into account in the rankings. Endorsements and media presence figure heavily in the rankings.

We’re talking a $12 million gate to go along with a possible 2 million PPV buys. This means that Mayweather could end up making between $60-70 million for his fight against Cotto. Those numbers are staggering, aren’t they? Mayweather already was guaranteed $32 million for the fight, but the PPV totals will make it much more, especially if they come in 2 million buys. The PPV record is 2.4 million buys in the Mayweather vs. Oscar De La Hoya fight in 2007. Nothing has come close to that fight since then.

so who knows.....but Pac wont make that unless all Filipinos pitch in and help. My PR people had a lot to do with those PPV numbers in the Cotto fight, same will have to be said in the Bradley fight for Pac.

So let me get this straight..

Floyd just made a guaranteed 32 million dollars including all the PPV vs Cotto. And Cotto only took home 8 million dollars.

Pac can't be serious about 50/50 lol he just can't be because he's numbers aren't equal to floyd. To get 50/50 that means you are equivalent to your opponent and he's not.

Did Pacquiao's fight with Marquez not generate more money than Floyd's fight last year? That's all that matters. Pacquiao's fights generated more money than Floyd's in two of the last three years going head to head against each other. The money, profits and costs should be split 50-50 between Pacquiao/Top Rank Promotions and Mayweather/Golden Boy Promotions. How each side splits the money is up to them. Floyd just wants total control so he can **** Pacquiao and make $100M off his name. That's not going to happen. He is turning down $70M+ to avoid Pacquiao. That would have to be the greatest duck of all-time.

Mayweather vs Pac will not be the highest selling PPV fight of all time. There will never be a fight that breaks the MAYWEATHER vs oscar fight. It may come close but it wont break it so chill with the fantasy.

Mayweather is the draw, he is the undefeated fighter who brings the most money to the table. All manny is to floyd is another opponent who is looking for a payday off his name PERIOD. Manny didn't beat the opponents floyd avoided...he beat the opponents floyd destroyed and lost to a bunch of NO NAME FIGHTERS who's careers didn't make it past the a$$ whippings they put on manny.

IF manny was serious about this fight it would've already happened. First it was 50/50 but he refused to take the test. Then it was i'll take less but will do the drug test with another company outside the country. Now its okay we'll do the same test but I want 50/50..

Pac beats people better than Floyd, so Floyd should be desperate to beat the man who beats people better than him.

Give Pac 50% as he has already agreed to OSDT. Will Pac be allowed to fight in the phillipines with a ref of his choosing and judges as well if he takes less than 50%

Too much has happened now, too much talk, too long now. Just give pac 50 and get the fight over with and move on with careers......if a rematch is needed by all means rematch
