true. Of the fans who went to the fight, at LEAST 85% were pro Cotto, so I would say he deserves 85% of the gate. At least.

I agree Cotto deserves more. Don't you think its crazy that he's getting the MOST he's ever gotten in a fight (while still deserving more) once he left his former promotional company?

Some bought because they're Cotto fans, some because they're Floyd fans, and some because they hate Floyd and want him to lose. That's Floyd drawing them in, regardless of their reason for watching. Cotto should make about 15 million dollars when all is said and done.

I think Cotto got like 8 plus a cut of the ppv. I mean whatever, if Cotto thought he could get more, why didn't he? I'm sure Floyd put up all the money or most of it to cover the promotions and probably guided Cotto in how to promote fights for the future.

8-15 Mill is a damn good payday. It doesn't look fair on paper but Floyd has been earning those huge paydays for a while so he isn't going to take a 50-50 split with anyone at this stage.

Now the Pac fight should be closer in terms of split but Floyd will never go for a 50-50. It is becoming apparent that Arum is taking a majority of Pac's money, if Pac got rid of Arum, I could see a 40-60 split.
