What are the chances Mayweather gets to 50-0?

I dont see him being around that long. The fight with cotto, and maybe a couple more. He aint getting any younger or quicker, somebody is bound to be able to match up with him, especially if he retires and comes back older and slower.

locked up for 45 days?...cause he isn't doing the full 90....He got the LV courts to postpone his sentence & you think the LV courts will make him stay the entire 90 day sentence?

I have lots of criticism for Pac as well, but I will say that every person on your list was a better fighter then what Canelo is, with the exception of Mosley. It really doesn't matter how old Canelo is. What matters is that even if he beats Mosley, he still hasn't fought anyone that would make him a creditable fight for Floyd. He is still a "C" fighter. It gets frustrating watching Pac and Floyd fighting "B" fighters, but when they start fighting "C" fighters, that is what you call scraping the bottom of the bucket for an easy win. That isn't even Friday Night Fights worthy. It blows my mind to think they are going to try to sell that crap on PPV.

I agree Canelo isnt a great fighter. I don't think I've ever complimented Canelo on this board.

Let's look at the current landscape at 140-154. Guys on Mayweather's radar: Alexander, winner of Berto/Ortiz, Canelo, winner of Khan/Peterson, Martinez, Pac. If Guerrero beats Aydin, he can be added to the list as well. Add his upcoming fight with Cotto, and that brings his total up to 50. However, I doubt Mayweather would fight all these guys lol, it's not like him to fight on "all comers". He's not even active enough. I don't see him running a 140-154lb gauntlet. He'll wait until people eliminate one another, and then fight the last few guys still standing. I think Floyd being 50-0 is a fantasy. So realistically, the only guys on his radar (after Cotto) are Pac, Canelo, and Martinez. An Alexander fight in STL would bring money, but Alexander might not bring PPV buys and has an ugly style.

As a huge Mayweather fan I think it's possible for him to get to 50-0 but something tells me that he will taste defeat before it's all said and done. I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling he may stay around to long, take one vacation too many and then end up old overnight, only to be defeated by one of boxing's next generation stars.
