Why is it a sad fact that Pac became no1 after FLoyd retired? It doesnt make no difference whatsoever. Its debateable whether FLoyd should have been considered no1 in the first place. If Pac chose to fight Cotto like he did, and Floyd didnt retire, but also chose not to fight Cotto and Co. Pac would have become no1 anyway.

YOu cant be the best fighter if you dont fight, floyd has found that out, with Pac still being no1. How come Floyd hasnt automatically reclaimed his spot?
Because he isnt considered the best fighter, his fans have to do the fighting for him and thats why they get so emotional, a thing they accuse Pac fans of.

Manny Pacquaio has proven as long as your active whilst being considered #1 then you won't be moved from there in this day and age. He's fought a joke list of fighters from 2010 onwards outside the Marquez fight in which the majority of people felt he lost. Yet, he's still #1.

Again, the only reason Manny Pacquaio has ever been considered P4P #1 is because Floyd Mayweather retired.

This is simply a fact, and a burden that will be carried around with him until the end of time.
