On a similiar point, this was pacquiao's first venture into the welterweight division, and he'd only had one lightweight fight, and was coming up from 130 lbs just 9 months before. It was a monumental undertaking and he deserves every praise he gets.
On the other hand, Mayweather, when he went up from 130 lbs to lightweight, he didn't pick a champion for his first fight, as Pacquiao did, he carefully picked a guy with a record of about 20-15. It was Emanuel Augustus, and it turned out to be a tougher fight than Mayweather expected or wanted. It was good fight, and any time I want to be cheered up, I look at it again.
Pacquiao is a warrior and fighter, Mayweather is a boxer and conniver. neither deserves blame from fans, that's just the way they are.

I don't have twitter, can someone please post it ?
If Mayweather really did state that he would not agree to 50/50, then I find it hard to take him too seriously, in spite of the fact that he has made Team Pacquiao look like utter b1tches over the last week-or-so.

you cant just put the blame on arum now. there is plenty of blame to go around.
Pac and floyd are both considerd #1 lb 4 lb by different en******. they both generate $1 million + in PPV buys. if there is a 50/50 fight, this is it.
I really dont giv a f*** is Pac said that, his point was that he wanted the fight and would do what is necessary to make it happen. Unfortunatly Arum and floyd dont feel the same way

You are a clown for attempting to clear Bob Arum's good nameby attacking Mayweather's credibility.
Even if Mayweather did lie, how would that justify the mountain of lies that have come from Bob Arum?
And speaking of lies..... did Mayweather state that his name was Manny Pacquiao and that he genuinely wanted to fight Mayweather more than anything in the world, but then would not agree to fight on May 5th?
Did Mayweather say to the Filipino media that his name was Manny Pacquiao and that he would take less money, but then categorically state "50/50 or no fight"?
Did Mayweather say to the Filipino media that his name was Manny Pacquiao and that "making the fight was more important than the money"...... but then immediately flip-flop and state "we need to build a new stadium in order to maximize revenue"?
I am not sure what process you use to decide what to believe, but I am sure that I can make a damn good guess, pacboy

Geez. And screw Arum, go soley off what Pac said man. This is BS and you know it. If he didnt mean it he shouldnt have said, plain and simple. Damn.
