The same way manny is a challenge for floyd, but is not percieved to be more difficult then Sergio because of the weight difference. Ward for the same reasons, would be more difficult for sergio than floyd.

sergio is a better fighter than manny and bigger but ward might be bigger than floyd but he sure as hell is not better than floyd so i'm not sure who is a tougher fight for sergio.was margarito a tougher fight than marquez for pacquiao?

But I know you know Pacman stands no chance. So I don't understand why you'd bring up Pacman, who doesn't even belong in a convo bout elite fighters. Seems like you know deep down that Floyd isn't the best fighter capable of competing at 154 & you're trying too hard because you simply are afraid of the outcome of Floyd/Martinez.

So you bring up Ward to defend Floyd. But it's not the same cause everyone knows Martinez never fought at 168 & they know he cannot compete with Ward. What everyone doesn't know is who would win if the consensus #1 pfp, (Floyd) fights the consensus #3 (Martinez).

One thing is for sure though, If Mayweather fights Martinez at 160 it would do way more for his legacy than if he fights him at 154.

If you are so concerned about Floyd's legacy why not have him fight Klitscko at 240?

It's 1 thing to fight fighters in a division you've been at & another entirely to jump 8 pounds to 1 of the deepest divisions in the world & fight the best fighter there, maybe even the best fighter in boxing.

Floyd is a 2 time 154lb champ. Martinez has hardly made the middleweight limit. Both are top 3 both can easily make 154. It's not the same in the slightest. But again all I get from your post is Floyd isn't a challenge for Martinez, cause that's basically what you're saying.

if you choose to interpret it that way so be it. your initial argument was challenge over money. I responded to that point. If floyd should do that, so should sergio. In that respect, if floyd must choose sergio over canelo then sergio must choose ward over floyd.
