Its a duck IMO cause Martinez can make the weight in a division where PBF has fought and won titles twice. We agree that Martinez is much bigger than PBF and Cotto was as well but we also saw what PBF has done to size advantages before. I know he not what he once was also. De la Hoya had him by 20lbs, so you saying that to say what exactly? Personally I never thought that highly of Manny even when everyone was putting as this machine and ATG top 5 possible fighter I just didn't see it. So I don't think about a fight between Martinez vs Manny cause Manny would get crushed to pieces IMO. PBF vs Martinez is a competitive fight to me.

Martinez is a duck if he don't fight Ward to me because he can call out and expect PBF who is really a WW to come up to 154 or higher but he not willing to do the same to fight Ward makes it a duck. Martinez shouldn't call out others to move up if he himself is not willing to do the same.

First fighting PBF is a challenge and money so that is out the window. If PBF is not willing to fight Martinez at 154 then its a duck. Now with Ward being the best challenge for Martinez at 168 and Martinez not being willing to fight Ward that is a duck as well to me. Difference being though that Martinez has at least fought at 154 before and he has never fought at 168. Even though I feel Martinez should take the challenge and make a fight with Ward at 168 I can give him a little slack but not let him off the hook either.
tredh my dude, we will respectfully disagree because bushbaby's point is that sergio is floyd's toughest challenge. Floyd isn't sergio's toughest challenge. either they both take the toughest challenge or both take money.

to call either move a duck is utterly ridiculous. sergio (ward) and floyd (sergio) by moving up and fighting would be giving boxing fans something special to see because many would say 3 of the 4 best (IMO, I have manny ahead of sergio) p4p fighters. but because they don't choose to do it its not ducking.

I'll give you this you can't duck a fighter who is not in your division. But a fighter also shouldn't call out fighters to move up in weight to fight them when they are not willing to move up in weight to fight.

not gassed by him being the ONLY dude to stop the unstoppable Paul....but I'm worried that you might be gassed by Jr. stopping the proven to be stoppable Andy Lee....skills are gonna dictate the outcome...size will keep Jr in the game longer than normal for his skill set....the kid taking a ass whooping....str8 up!!

His calling out floyd is no different than Canelo or Keith Thurman. Being fair, IMO Sergio would move up to fight if it was financially viable. All of us would love to see floyd/sergio. But bush needs to be honest that for sergio its about the money.

For all fighters its about the money. But at the sametime like I said earlier they don't have to give us fans BS fights just to get every little penny they can get. IMO PBF vs Canelo will not make that much more money than PBF vs Martinez. Especially with Canelo probably asking for at least 25% when Martinez has already said he will take 15%.

I highly doubt Sergio is gonna coon and bafoon if he's gonna be in a fight with Mayweather. Obviously the money is great and is a big part of why he'd fight Floyd, but he's not gonna pull one of these

well thats not true because Canelo accounts for all of the sales when he fights on floyds undercard, so if he is in the main event, maybe the ppv sells 2x as much.

Seriously though, the sport needs floyd/sergio and foyd/canelo equally, but for different reasons. We need another Hagler/Leonard fight. But we also need 1.5-2 mil people buying a ppv so the broners, garcias (danny and mikey),moreno's, and some other really good young fighters can get seen.
