Totally agree. This would be an epic fight. Youth vs experience. Mexican vs Puerto Rican. Two likeable fighters. How will Canelo deal with Cottos technique? How will Cotto deal with Canelos power? Would generate big money and do over a million plus ppv buys. I think this is the 2nd biggest money maker behind Pac-Floyd. A little back story too since Canelo already beat Miguels brother.

Yup u can picture the build up shows (maybe even 24/7) with Cotto's brother there giving tips ect and Miguel claiming he is out for family revenge and *****...

Canelo is young. Yes he is a heavy fighter but he can drop weight and still do work!!! Every boxer wants payday and fame.

Canelo vs Floyd is a way better fight than Cotto. Cotto needs to retire and he barley put any damage on Margarito. Only continued the assault of Pac-Mans damage to his Orbital bone... As for Cotto his faced showed that he was getting hurt and Margarito barley touched the man.. If he fights Canelo he better brace him self for some serious damage which he already said in the Margarito fight that he would toss the towel if he felt threaten..

Canelo vs Floyd - WOW that would be a hell of interesting fight!!!! Floyd would be facing a Super Sayian Mexican!!!!! That Canelo kid has the XYY chromosome 23!! Would put Floyd on a whole new level and for once put to end the Pac-Man Floyd fight.

Cotto focus on Pac-Man I think you showed you can maneuver fairy quickly while throwing quick punches. Cotto and Pac-Man fight would show who can be a true aggressive fighter. Makes for a hell of an interesting fight for me.

Damn, I'm getting hyped just thinking about this fight. Hope Cotto exercises his free agency on jan 1st. The fight could get made in a matter of weeks if he signs with Golden Boy. But if Arum manipulates Cotto to stay, then this fight could be very difficult to make.

Bob Arum got Cotto to stay with him last time by promising a Pac fight i think the same thing has happened here, Cotto will want to avenge his only other loss and with him being back to full confidence and Manny not looking quite so superhuman these last few fights he must fancy it....

I'm not as much of a critic of Canelo's comp as most.......I actually think he's been brought along very well. But being in there with Cotto would be a biiiig step up.
