Fair enough, but....if those 2 points are not deducted (which most i think will agree were bull s), is Peterson the clear winner? Thats what is getting most people is that Amir lost to the ref and not so much Peterson.

this proves how much of a fraud freddi roach is as a trainer.......freedie has no plan b when his garbage-ass game plan doesn't work. all you have to do is look at the marquez fight with his other fraud/hypejob of a fighter pacroid.....he's had seven years to solve that puzzle and has failed.....thank goodness for roach his fighter got the gift.......until tonight, hahahaha!!

First off Peterson won fair and square and deserves to be the new champion tonight,

Secondly the referee wasn't up to scratch and played against both guys making sloppy decisions and not breaking the fighters up properly putting them both in danger at times.

Thirdly khan fought a reckless arrogant fight and looked terrible at times laying on the ropes and taking body shots instead of moving or slipping to the sides and the leaning onto Lamont's head was doing my head in and should of had points deducted for that but the referee decides to deduct points for pushing Lamont which there isn't anything wrong with especially when Lamont had his head as low as it was.

I think khan threw this fight away more than Lamont taking the fight and titles from khan so a rematch seems like a good idea because of how many inconsistencies there was in this fight.

Credit where credit is due Lamont has heart and never gives up until the end that's what true champions are made of and what a role model for people to aspire to where he came from and to be sitting on top of the world right now is what dreams are made of TRUE CHAMPION

First of all congratulations to Peterson, he fought his a$$ off and despite what our opinions are, the decision is out of his hands and this was a sik fight, now im not at all an Amir Khan fan, i actually put money on Peterson to win so im a little happy with the result but i honestly think Khan won the fight, on the other hand a lot are complaining about the point deductions, Khan was warned several times about pushing and he was pushing Lamonts head down throughout the whole fight, plus that KD in the first round was rubbish, the punch that was landed in that exchange was by Peterson but he slipped, but despite all of that cr@p it was a very entertaining fight and i though Khan won by a couple of points, and i think he will win the rematch if there is gonna be one, but for now Congratulations to Peterson, thank you for winning me some money, and Khan should run a little less in fights

Let me start by saying that I am no more than a long, very long, time fan of the sport of boxing. And I am not sure when I learned this but somewhere along the line I learned that fighters are not allowed to push each other in a fight. And the following is for those that somehow believe that pushing is legal in the sport of boxing. To include Max Kellerman and Larry Merchant (to old and needs to retire). This is rule number one of the Unified Rules of Boxing as found on Box Rec.

A violation of the following rules is considered a foul, and can result in a point deduction or disqualification:

1. You cannot hit below the belt, hold, trip, kick, headbutt, wrestle, bite, spit on, or push your opponent.

And Khan did a lot of pushing and was warned numerous times and what is strange is that he was pushing when there really was no need to push. What I am saying is that he would land a combo and than push Lamont. Didn't anyone else notice this? Oh,that's right the ref did and in my opinion he acted appropriately. And I find it somewhat amusing that the ones complaining about the point deductions for pushing say nothing about the bogus 10-8 score in the first round.

You sit there and talk all that **** about how you had more fans/support in D.C. and how you had government officials on your side and coming to the fight (they got better **** to worry about sugartits) you talk about how you wanted to bring boxing back to D.C. and how you was going to BEAT Peterson in his own backyard....but now you on some fck D.C. **** and they cheated and Peterson had the ref/judges/crowd on his side...SMH
