Gotta say I agree with BoxingGenius27, Helenius is bringing some excitement to the H/W division he might not be facing the best opponents out there but he's heading in the right direction & he's staying active, winning in very good fashion.
He's exciting man, he takes risks!

Rios on the other hand, well, his opponents just get worse & worse, every single one is handpicked to suit him. He's now facing John Murray ffs!
I can't think of 1 single fighter style-wise that is an easier fighter for him than Murray. A guy who got destroyed by Kevin Mitchell who was out the ring for about 18 month or something drinking himself to death & suffering from depression.

Can't argue with that if he beats Cintron which I do expect him to! Though I'm sure plenty of haters on this board will.

For beating two guys half his size that was huge underdogs? Not to mention one of them was quite possibly the most dullest fight of the year.
            No chance!

I wouldn't be mad with Andre Ward getting it being he beats Froch.

So far he's KO'd Peter and LiaKhovich. A KO of Chisora might be icing on the cake.
I was thinking Helenius too, but it's hard to make an argument for fighter of the year when said fighter did not fight for any of the major titles..

                      Donaire? For what?

He didn't even get KO, Monitel got up and the Narvaez fight? Seriously?
