I agree that the fight hasn't happened yet due to Bob and his dislike of Floyd and vice versa. But please don't act like Floyd doesn't know what he's doing when he picks his opponents as well. I'm pretty sure he knows he can beat his opponents before he announces his fights, he's not that ****** to take risks and lose that 0. With that said, at the end of the day, all these nonsense are business as usual for both parties. It's all about making money, and it doesn't matter if it's Floyd or Pac. So until these two divas actually fight, neither one is fighting for legacy anymore, it's all about money.

Your assumptions of floyds opponents are based on after the fact conclusions. Take for example shane mosley.The public demanded floyd fight shane mosley. floyd called shane out in 2005. shane refused the fight but somehow it got turned around that floyd was at fault. fans, media, hbo announcers all said floyd was afraid of shane. Shane waited and got his ass kicked. then it was well he was old and handpicked.

Top rank's matchmaker is in the HOF for a reason, because he makes great fights and matches stars properly. That is a great skill and he should be applauded for it. In this instance they should buck protocol to give fans the fight they want.

pac can not fight mayweather if he has the lawsuit going on...you can't sue someone then the next day agree to fight him...

that means that pac rather chooses to fight in the court room....

As long as Bob is the promotoer, and Floyd is his own promoter, you won't get anywhere, plain and simple. The only difference between the two is that Bob has a stable of fighters to make money on, while Floyd only has himself. The only true challenge/risk I'll see from both Pac and Floyd is against each other or Martinez.

The result of the Marquez fight added a new dimension to the whole Pac/Floyd drama. As Far as Arum is concerned, that fight offered another opportunity to make, not just one, but two more mega fights for Pac before he retires and runs for governor on 2013.
