I wouldn't argue that. I believe Floyd knows this and understands he has to fight more often. I think a lot of people know Floyd's style beats Pac but believe Floyd needs to fight and accomplish more. I can agree with that.

However beating Pac and Martinez would be another debate on who's greater. The fact that Pac has FOTD speaks for itself. Something I think Floyd was expecting to be handed to him on a silver platter. Might have been the best thing for boxing fans because I think Floyd knows he has to fight more often now.

However I still think Bob hyped Pac to be the next great hope. Bob knew how to market Pac as the good guy and give the perception that Pac was something even better than Mayweather was/is. With perfect match making and good use of the media he sold a lot of fans that idea. I think many people felt cheated they bought into Bob's product since the fight a few weeks ago.

I hope Bob puts dollars before sense and will make the fight happen.

Well, Barrera fought JMM and Morales and he said MOrales was better no question. Barrera fought JMM when Barrera was way over the hill as well so what he says must be taken seriously.

You cant give JMM all the accolades just because of his performances against Pac. MOrales did actually beat Pac once so you cant discount that as nothing.

So all these mexicans must be better than Floyd, because Floyd has yet to fight Pac.

Yeah but Pac still can't decisively hang wiith JMM while Manny beat the other two, so in my opinion JMM is the best fighter Pac has fought.

I've watched the fight 5 times (possibly more) now...and I've come up with a draw 4 of the 5 times and JMM winning by 1 round once...the only way you could give this fight to either fighter by more than 2 points is if you literally give every close round to one fighter.

Maybe it is personal preference that I want to see crisp accurate punching rather than a guy launching himself from the canvas to miss 4 shots, get stuck twice, and then finally land not even that solid of a punch.

To each their own I guess.

and the undercard was good imo. (except for the bradley-casa crap)

two good fights early and a solid main event.

                not bad.

IMO the only reason that 1 can would make the argument that Pacquiao's resume is better than Mayweather's is if they've been drinking the kool-aid. The only way that you could even begin to make that argument is by overrating his wins over guys like DLH, Hatton, and Cotto.

I didn't say I agree but that I wouldn't argue because it is arguable but not worth arguing about.

I liked Pac but been annoyed at the BS since 08. Nothing he has done has been impressive since then. He is still the exact same fighter but perfectly matched to look better than he really was. Bob Arum has built him to be something he is not and that is exactly why he is getting so much flak.

It is what it is, Pac is exciting but a lot of people get that confused with greatness. But like I said its arguable but not worth auguring about. Lets hope Koncz can talk Bob into putting Dollars before sense and make the fight.
