For PAC and his fans, they must go for a KO or TKO on his every opponents he face. Eventhough he's the champs, he still moves forward and attack!
But for Marquez, surviving a 12 rounds without being knockdown for him is a victory... What a shame for this crying JMM!

I realize that most of the people posting here have probably never fought in the ring, but this foot stomping business is just silly. ITS PART OF BOXING IDIOT! Trying to use the excuse that "Marquez stepped on Mannys toes" is embarassing to Manny and proves that YOU AGREE HE LOST. Why else would you use this desperate excuse? Many of Mannys fans know nothing about the sport and they are an embarassment to themselves, to him, and to the Pinoy boxing greats of the past (Villa, Espinosa, Garcia, Penalosa, etc.) Has anyone ever heard of any pro fighter excuse loss or a tough fight because the opponent controlled him with foot-stepping!?!?!!! Ever???

this sad excuse that people have come up with to justify pac's "victory" about Marquez not fighting in the last few rounds reminds me of the whole "winky wright gave up the 12th round to taylor" bs......taylor, like pacquiao, didnt do S.HIT either....

being the champion(last i checked, marquez was the defending titlist in the first 2 fights...)
stepping on someone's foot 10 times(in a southpaw vs conventional match up)

give it up already, anyone with a brain knows Marquez won this fight

75% of the people think he won
everyone but HBO who called the fight had Marquez winning
even the biased american press row experts heavily favored Marquez(and theyre just trying to justify it so that boxing's biggest fight, pac-mayweather, isn't tarnished)

i find it funny that *******s always say, he needed to fight to take the title away he wasnt fighting like he wanted the titled, you ****ing serious!!! i dont remember once anyone mention pacs title was on the line, why? cuz no one ****ing cared everyone just wanted to see who was going to win this 3rd fight and was expecting pac to finish him easy, i didnt even remember they were fighting for a belt no one cared about the belt, like if marquez was really gonna defend it if he did win? so stop saying he wasnt fighting like he wanted pacs belt, that is ******, arum didnt even market that part, why cuz no one cared

That's your opinion. Unless you went around polling people, how do you know that the large majority of people and pro fighters saw a "clear" win for JMM? I can throw that same statement back to you saying that Manny was the "clear" winner. It would hold the same weight as your comment.

As far as being moved to #2 in a few places on the pound for pound list, that has nothing to with the fact that he "lost" the fight and more with the fact that he struggled while the guy those places had at #2 did not struggle against his opponent.

The rematch talk I can only speculate because I'm not Manny Pacquiao. It would seem to me that a guy that wanted to look good but won a close decision would like to give it another go since he did not accomplish what he set out to do.

My point is that unarguably the fight was a close fight. Could it have gone either way or a draw? Sure. But again, the people that matter are the judges since they make the decision and they had Manny win the fight. So to sit here and say I know X amount of people who think differently really doesn't solve anything, especially since that same argument can be brought up by the other side.

pac vs jmm 1 - jmm got kd 3 times; jmm won

pac vs jmm 2 - jmm got kd once; jmm won

pac vs jmm 3 - jmm was not kd; hurray hurray,,,,jmm CLEARLY won

the thing is that the judges decided otherwise...

uhh no JMM nevr had to make a "comeback" JMM wasnt bleeding from his mouth and eye like pac was,to most objective observers pac wasnt really even in this fight,it wasnt lopsided ,but this fight wasnt even close, even if jmm "lost the last 4 rounds ,which he didnt pac did nothing in those rounds either but miss and receive hard counters,,jmm swept the first 8 rounds accept it for what it is a robberry decision for a fighter whos"too big to fail" nobody outside hbo and *******s feel pacman did anything to desrerve a victory and he didnt, he straight up lost that fight, jmm coulda won every single round in vegas against pac hed never get a decision,judges surely bet their house on pac lol.....

Did you watch the first 3 rnds posted? You are dumb if you can't score those rnds correctly! Or you just don't know Math? Manny Won Period! If Knockdowns wasn't enough, what more on their last fight?
