Comments Thread For: Marquez Reviews Fight, More Confident He Beat Pacquiao

For the first time since last Saturday's twelve round majority decision loss, Juan Manuel Marquez (53-6-1, 39KOs) sat down to watch a video of his trilogy fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao (54-3-2, 38KOs). The fight, which took place at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, saw one judge score a 114-114 draw, and two scorecards in favor of Pacquiao with 116-112 and 115-113 rulings.

stop it dude you look ridicuklous stop put flattering parts of the pac, instead put the rest of the fight where pac got his butt soundly kicked and taken to school....even pac knows he lost dont make excuses when he himself has pretty much admitted a loss his team too.....

Its a very interesting phenomenon...Marquez always does better than he expects or makes a spirited comeback and it somehow translates in his mind to winning the fight. I like both fighters a lot, but it was at best a draw or a narrow victory for Pacquiao. Marquez shot himself in the foot by not fighting the last two rounds. He really has no one to blame but himself--maybe Nacho Beristain for telling him he was way ahead--- just not true. But hey, hes going to get paid for a 4th fight- so what the hell

You did it champ you proved the world wrong, you outperformed pac in every single way possible, kicked his butt without a doubt, pac even looked weak in there his shots didnt even have power or snap, congratulations to JMM a GREAT great fighter not a hypejob, the world can attest to your victory only *******s and hbo will deny it the truth has been told in 48mins,again JMM is the man......*******s you suffer from "hysterical Fanatacism" the likes which are seldom seen in boxing ,you cant even accept the facts when they are in front of you, feel sad for yall because you are weak, but this should srve as a lesson to the pacfans on here rolling out countless and ridiculous excuses:stop running your mouth in this life justice will always be served, your no better than mayweathers mouth ,no better.also learn the sport before you post on here otherwise go the the pacman fanclub website because boxingfans you arent!

That's the ******est shit I've heard since the fight and everyone seems to be running with it, the 11th was a competitive round and the 12 was a round in which nothing happened. I guess people are tryin' to convince themselves Pacquiao won.

The bold is a huge misconception.

any news on whether jmm isgoing to comment on

                a) the state of his face post-fight compared to pac

                b) why he took his clothes off for the post fight interview with max kellerman - was that meat to be a sign of protest?

Draws go to the champion- it always has and always will be that way. You need to BEAT the champion to take the title...Not fight to a stalemate. They should re-institute 15 round fights though----MMA is so brutal---I dont see how another 9 minutes to get a clear winner and not have to have multiple fights is such a no-no, given society's penchant for brutal violence with MMA...

uhh no JMM nevr had to make a "comeback" JMM wasnt bleeding from his mouth and eye like pac was,to most objective observers pac wasnt really even in this fight,it wasnt lopsided ,but this fight wasnt even close, even if jmm "lost the last 4 rounds ,which he didnt pac did nothing in those rounds either but miss and receive hard counters,,jmm swept the first 8 rounds accept it for what it is a robberry decision for a fighter whos"too big to fail" nobody outside hbo and *******s feel pacman did anything to desrerve a victory and he didnt, he straight up lost that fight, jmm coulda won every single round in vegas against pac hed never get a decision, judges surely bet their house on pac lol.....
