1) Effective Aggressiveness: Was pacquiao an effective aggressor? Hell NO!

2) Ring Generalship: Do I even have to make the case here. Marquez controlled the rythm, tempo, and the exchanges

3) Defense: Again do I even have to fight this for Marquez...... no contest Marquez

4) Clean and Hard Punching: All the clean and hard punches were Marquez, the only guy getting jolted out there was pacquiao.

This is how rounds are SUPPOSED to be scored and the reason why Marquez won. No one can deny the above everyone saw it with their own two eyes.

It is the reason a guy like Floyd Mayweather can win round after round by pumping the jab and throwing 10 shots in a round while his opponent misses wildly with 30 or 40 shots.

Compubox, no matter how inflated they might be, which they are...... has no bearing on the fight. If it did.... we wouldn't need judges and beat up fighters would win a ton of fights just by throwing throwing and throwing no matter how ineffective they are.

I'm a huge Marquez fan but come on!? This article is super biased. On another note, I do feel like Marquez controlled the fight. He used his punches wisely and counter punched Pacquiao at will. I also believe his landed the more effective shots. His footwork and strategy was beautiful. However, the judges score punches(unaffective or not) and Pacquiao clearly threw more punches. I think boxing purists would give the W to Marquez by a close margine. I'd love to see a pt 4

I heard a rumor that Pacquiao had marital problems during the stay in MGM and Jinkee is filling an annulment. If this is true then it would really affect Pac's performance in the ring. His explosiveness wasn't there.

I had Marquez winning the fight though I am a Pac fan. He got robbed this time and I am not proud of Pac's performance today. It was so crappy, I want to sleep during the fight.
