I give credits to Pac for not raising his hand victorious at end of the fight, true warrior accepted the defeat right there. Now on interviews he is just playing along because that mafia is too strong and he knows he is just a puppet.

Terrible performance by Pacquiao and to some extent Marquez. I didn't score it but another let down after all that build up and hype. Either Pac is slipping now or he over trained and didn't bring it tonight. Marquez fought well in spots and he could have pressed the action more but he also waited and waited which probably cost him the victory.
A performance like this against Floyd will be result in a shutout loss for Pac- no doubt.

1) Effective Aggressiveness: Was pacquiao an effective aggressor? Hell NO!

2) Ring Generalship: Do I even have to make the case here. Marquez controlled the rythm, tempo, and the exchanges

3) Defense: Again do I even have to fight this for Marquez...... no contest Marquez

4) Clean and Hard Punching: All the clean and hard punches were Marquez, the only guy getting jolted out there was pacquiao.

This is how rounds are SUPPOSED to be scored and the reason why Marquez won. No one can deny the above everyone saw it with their own two eyes.

It is the reason a guy like Floyd Mayweather can win round after round by pumping the jab and throwing 10 shots in a round while his opponent misses wildly with 30 or 40 shots.

Compubox, no matter how inflated they might be, which they are...... has no bearing on the fight. If it did.... we wouldn't need judges and beat up fighters would win a ton of fights just by throwing throwing and throwing no matter how ineffective they are.

why would defense count in scoring?
punches landed is how fights should be scored, fairly simple, people should forget all the rest
and if the guys landed roughly the same punches look for who's punches had the better effects
