why would he be scared? why would he openly commit to fighting manny by sayin take the test only to bottle out, he would lose ALL credibilty by doing that.

Before having Pacquiao as a rival Mayweather sold 910K PPV as an A-side vs an extremely popular Ricky Hatton, who was his rival back then. It was the fight everyone wanted, and this was after the exposure he had as a great b-side in the record breaking De La Hoya fight.

He has done better numbers against much less popular fighters after he came back and associated himself to P4P #1 and FTOD Pacquiao's name by announcing he was fighting Pacquiao's rival during Pacquiao-Hatton, even mentioning Pacquiao at the conference he held at the same casino just hours before Pacquiao was due to step in the ring.

People had started to forget about him in his retirement, especially as the Pacquiao phenomenom was taking it's spectacular course. His PPVs should not have done as well as they have, especially the Marquez and Ortiz fights.

With fans believing a Pacquaio fight was on the horizon there is no doubt that created alot more interest in Mayweather's fights than there otherwise would have been.

He does use Pacquiao's name to sell his fights. There was the Marquez situation as mentioned. He also mentioned at the first press conference for the Ortiz fight that Pacquiao is next, which he later recanted in a smaller interview. That would suggest he deliberately put it out there at the big conference which would've had the most exposure solely to trick people into believing it so they'd consider buying the Ortiz fight to see how he looks in his warm up vs a southpaw. And he mentions Pacquiao in seemingly every interview with pre-concocted rants. It's very smart though, certainly worked out for him with the money he's made off Pacquiao's name.

You're playing coy. You know damned well who the 'little fellow' is. Who's the only 'little fellow' who's done some 'very, very good numbers'? Who's the only 'little fellow' who's done 8.8. million dollar gate with Shane Mosley as opposed to 11.1 million that Floyd did? That 'little fellow' certianly is NOT Juan Manuel Marquez. The only 'little fellow' that it COULD be is Manny Pacquiao. They called him out straight up. As you can clearly tell by what Bob Arum said in this article, May 5 was a date that Bob Arum was looking to secure for Manny Pacquiao. Floyd put himself in play for that date. Now we have Bob Arum actin like a spoiled little kunt trying to throw salt in the game. Erik Morales was probably approached to be on the undercard again. Bob Arum is a piece of work and he wants idiots like YOU to believe that it is Floyd who doesn't want the fight, when CLEARLY, it's he [Slob Arum] who doesn't want it. He's acting like a kunt because he has to change his plans. Hey Bob, you won't be cut out of the date if you bring your fighter to the MGM Grand on May 5 to settle the P4P issue once and for all. The drug tests have been agreed upon? So what's the problem? Scared your cash cow will make that money and then tell you to piss off? You know that his PPVs will go back to doing 400,000 at best, after he gets toyed with by a real P4P fighter.
