Here's a lesson about boxing. Eric Gomez is a matchmaker, his duties are "
The person in charge of arranging bouts between boxers. He often works under the supervision of a particular venue's promoter. Sometimes the promoter alone handles the matchmaking duties. The matchmaker looks over candidates' fight records and tries to match opponents evenly. His job is to create INTERESTING contests that will "give the crowd a THRILL."
You guys act like Floyd himself called Morales to make the fight. Golden Boy is just compiling a list of opponents along with different figures to present to Floyd. Just like in years past they presented Floyd with a list of fighters that included guys like Mathew Hatton, Paul Spadafora, Paulie Malignaggi, etc. Did Floyd sign off on those fights? OF COURSE NOT. And I can guarantee he won't sign off on this. I will make a youtube video of me eating my **** if this fight ever gets seriously considered. Arum acknowledge in one video that Floyd was talking about Manny (duh) then in a later video with more media, he then put out that story, just as a spin job. I am almost positive that Floyd will be fighting Sergio Martinez that day.

Intelligent post. some people just don't get it tho. Arum is making Manny duck Floyd is all this is. Arum is putting on a spin job... I actually have proof of Arum doing it just solely and blatantly to play the media as he always does. A. Arum acknowledges Floyd is trying to fight Manny May 5th - youtube.com/watch?v=Uykam-UfTSI&feature=BFa&list=ULq5tv2XXMG30&lf=mfu_in_order - Then B. this same reporter catches him saying that Floyd wants to fight Morales May 5th (Cinco De Mayo) youtube.com/watch?v=KsvoR4sW5xo&feature=feedu

Sure. whatever you say. Ortiz was more a live opponent than any champion Manny has ever been in with since Marquez 3 years ago... and Marquez 4 years before that. Manny is the one that has a tendency to fight corpses. and he ducked Berto, and he ducked Ortiz after he then beat Berto... because Roach has clear plans on who Manny should and should not be fighting. ODH/SSM/AM/MC/EM/MAB/Hatton all shop worn and or damaged old fighters. ODH was drained so badly, he had to use IVs and Roach said he saw that and thought to himself, they rehydrated him too late. Oscar weighed less than Manny that night. Floyd fought him a year prior at 154... with Oscar about 160 and FLoyd around 148 on fight night. Hatton was undefeated champion, and was almost knocked out by Lazcano after being TKOed by Floyd, he was ruined. Roach made Manny duck Marg after he destroyed AM, saying only if SSM drained.... Floyd came back from an 8 month layoff to fight the man (Arum and Roach said Floyd wouldn't fight him) then a year later and looking awful, Manny fights him. Marg was a joke of an opponent at 150 exposed and one fight back off a beating and drained (classic Manny game)... that was a farce of a title fight "vacant". I give Manny credit for Cotto, through his whole career, JMM and Cotto, even tho Cotto was damaged goods. Anyone.. don't get it confused. Floyd is the only one taking the real fights. Manny has been bull****ting. Ortiz could beat Manny coming in at 164, ask Roach.

oh and Manny was the one ducking Sergio, as he should... he only ever tried to act interested when Floyd immediately showed interest in the match. And if Arum makes Manny duck Floyd again, out of greed or test that should be a non issue ****ing get it done story over... then Floyd Mayweather Jr. Vs. Sergio Martinez Cinco De Mayo at the MGM..... will deem Manny irrelevant, and any fight he could possibly hope to make. I'm sure Floyd's camp are talking to Sergio's people already. And oh please, the only thing that makes Sergio worthy, is the fact that Floyd spent 75% of his career at and below lightweight, and Sergio is a full Middleweight champion, and a small welterweight. He's just skilled like that... to go to his 5th division (POSSIBLY) and fight a guy way too big for him, lol. Hey I have no reason to doubt he will if Manny *****es out again.
