The "hate" is publicity that adds significantly to the building of an event you are talking about. The same as *****s adding significance to Pacquiao as they hate, whether they like it or not. The same as promoters spewing BS regularly. It's part of the territory. You say you hate this kind of hate game, so maybe you should stick to just watching the fights if you're that type of fan.

I don't believe that "hate" is necessary to promote a fight. I think competition is healthy and natural but the racism, and raw anger I come across when this fight is discussed doesn't hype the fight in my humble opinion, it besmirches it, kinda rolls it in through the back ally all ****** like. As fight fans I think we should be more understanding of how things go instead of ranting like petulant children over a piece of bloody cake.

I don't think I have to pop off mindlessly to prove I'm a fan. Maybe that's your interpretation and that's fine, but it isn't mine.

Let us just face facts and those are, that Bob Arum does not want to make this fight with Mayweather. Here's a guy who has been talking about Floyd continuously about how Floyd turned downed a deal during a second and 3rd negotiation, then he wanted a 100MIL. Dude even broke out the Top Rank clock, all to make him look like he was the one that wanted to make the fight but during the first and only official negotiation when all were at the table, Arum snatched Pac away from the table to make a fight with a loser fighter Clottey because of a disagreement on a random blood test? Now Floyd has finally implicated that he wants to fight Pac and Arum has gone out of his way to discredit the thought but prior he was trying to persuade us that he was going all out of his way to make the fight happen but Manny has had his opponents already waiting for him to finish fighting. It's ridiulous. Bob Arum is all about his paper and he is milking Manny and all his other fighters. He don't even want to break bread with other promoters and that is a fact by how he had Mosley and Marquez leave Golden Boy to get a chance at Pac AND Pac fans expect me to believe that Floyd is the one holding up this fight? The only reason people would think Floyd is holding up the fight is because of the blood tests but if that is all to it then just take the damn tests. I'm very curious to see what happens after Pac/Marquez 3 IF Pac wins.

Finally someone that has been following what has been happening and knows the truth. I honestly think Manny wants this fight but its Bob Arum that keeps avoiding and spinning any interest. Manny is under contract with Top Rank promotions so he cant decide who he wants to fight. De La Hoya left top rank cause of Bob Arum. Mayweather left cause of Bob Arum. Why the hell is Manny still under Bob Arum?

So the fight already happened? Did JMM at least put up a fight? Did the extra "muscle" help? Or was Pac "muscle" to much?

If no one can answer that question then ill wait to see what happens. The ball is in Pacs court and everyone knows it despite the natural hate from both sides to make excuses as to why the other wont want it. Maybe Arum is waiting till after the fight but he is taking the focus off pac vs jmm cause there is no buzz for this fight. Maybe floyd is also waiting till after the fight to see if he wins. Cause no matter what you pac fans say if he loses this is no longer a 50/50 fight. And maybe thats why he saying he didint know he is in his plans. The fight technically isnt signed yet and Pacs still gotta win. Post-fight interview and following days gonna be very interesting and tell alot.

According to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is attempting to close a deal to face Erik Morales, the WBC champion 140-pounds, on May 5th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. A few days ago, Mayweather's adviser, Leonard Ellerbe, said Mayweather was planning to return on May 5th of next year, and they already had the MGM Grand on hold. *******s are too ****** to understand what Arum is saying when he makes these statements, so let me translate it for you: Arum: "Mayweather will fight Morales next because there is no way in hell I am going to put Pacquaio in the ring with him. I will continue to use his name to promote the Pac/Bradley fight and the Pac/Brandon Rios fight after that, but there is no way I am going to sacrifice my cash cow to Mayweather."

I didn't say you have to be part of the hate. I said you could be a fan otherwise. It doesn't bother me either way until someone gets hurt (unlike the *****s here lol). It's totally fine with your opinion, but good and evil will always be part of the same entity. At some point, you just deal with it.

If you actually read my reply without jumping the gun, I said Arum is bull****ting in response to Floyd's own bull****. It is you who could not logically explain Floyd's bait and switch antics or admit it was also bull****. Two similar scenarios and you defended Floyd:

1) Pacquiao you're next, now I didn't say that (when Floyd was asked about FIGHTING Pacquiao next).
Your reason: You say Floyd is just saying what the media wants to hear. (This means he is avoiding Pacquiao, right?)

2) We're looking for Pacquiao, we're looking for him to take the test. (But when female host says to fight, we'll stay quiet as **** and smile like a b!tch.)
Your reason: For no logical reason you say he's no longer saying what the media wants to hear. But Floyd is saying the same damn legalese. (nowhere does he say he's looking to FIGHT Pacquiao).

It isn't "good" and "evil" that bother me, those are concepts that are too big for me to try to quantify anyway. What bothers me is the blind disregard and lack of objectivity from some "fans." The ranting and raving, spite, pettiness and name-calling detract from the dialogue and clarity. I doubt useless rage adds to the mystique of a fight but I would more than wager it adds to a climate of intolerance and useless bickering.
