The man who posted above who said Haye is a natural heavyweight is correct, he is, he always struggled to make Cruiser. He's also taller than people realise.
He's lost 1 fight at Heavyweight to Wladimir..in his first fight against a man that big with skill.
No disgrace in my eyes, at all - comments like f*uck Haye are just ill educated - the man talked so he made money and you're also failing to realise Haye has talked before every fight and delivered on all but 2 ocassions. His persona in interviews is very different to the trash talk, he's a nice guy.
Haye had a terrible heavyweight career, short as it was.

so who else is there in this glitering career -
a washed up joh ruiz
monte barret
audrey harrison
and then when he stepped up the calibre of fighter, he got a serious beat-down.....but i suppose that was because of his toe.
you can't polish a turd.

on a skill level he's better than wlad, there's no doubt about that. wlad has size and knows how to use it very well along with a good jab. haye didn't perform as bad as everyone makes out. he did try but was simply to small to land enough good shots.Last edited by badnewsbrown; 10-12-2011, 08:29 AM.

But you get too many children on this forum who aren't capable of holding decent discussion.

Haye lost most of the rounds to Wlad, of course, but a lot of them were close. Haye, to his credit, also took some big shots and didn't seem fazed at all.
His fight with Valuev might have been boring, but his performance was a tactical one and got the job done.
He has talked the talk before every fight and only come up short twice, the rest of the time doing exactly what he said he would.
Ruiz put in a good performance against Haye but was still blown away. He also demolished Harrison; what more do you expect? Same goes for the Barrett fight as well.
Not sure why people overlook his achievements at Cruiserweight. He's the best we've seen at that weight for some time.
