I watched the fight again the other day, the more I see it the more I think Haye just wanted a payday. Had he taken a risk and tried to go at Wlad he might of got the KO, the 4 or 5 times he landed big on Wlad, Wlad didnt want to know. What Haye should of done was take the centre and trade jabs with Wlad, he needed to risk getting knocked out to knockout Wlad, when Haye use to say all these bums fight the same way against Klitschko, well mate you done exactly the same thing, you gave nothing for Wlad to think about and you just let him control the fight. His head reflexes were very good and at times he was making Wlad look ******, but the workrate from Haye was awful and he looked like an amateur winging in with looping rights which were closer to hitting the moon than Wlads chin.

He and Booth got the tactics wrong, he tried to box how he did against Valuev, that was never going to work. If he came out like a raging lunatic in round 1 - 3 it would of given Wlad problems, he'd have to think in the ring , something he doesn't have to do as every fighter fights the exact same way against him, it's as if they're scared to mix it with him. Had Haye got into a punchup with Wlad there would only be one winner with Hayes power and speed, found it odd how people were warning him against that, is Wlad a destructive puncher? Because of what I've seen from him he wears opponents down and stops them late, they're usually tko's and not one punch Ko's either.
Klitschko has been rather passive these last few of years, but he really has 1 punch KO power. So did several of the fighters he KO'd but he got to them first. It always takes just a taste or two of his ramrod like jab to make them back away. He then doesn't have to exert himself much, and takes the easy path. He hasn't been extended, nor his jaw tested since his first fight with Samuel Peter. His chin is OK, not weak as many like to say, but not as strong as his brother's.

Size had nothing to do with it. He lacked heart and ability.

Not a lack of size, but a lack of balls or a lack of heart.

As the British may say this article was a bit of rubbish and I actually felt nauseated while reading it. And as far as I concerned they also still give to much credit to Haye at cruiserweight. Please remember that Haye only fought in two title fights in the division and yes he unified the title but he was only a champion for two rounds over, I believe, a four month period. Hardly dominating in my opinion.

Either Klitschko beats any HW from any era.

Size had nothing to do with it. Haye's technique looked dreadfull on the offensive. He really needed to work in behind the jab but instead just lunged in. He should of watched some Holyfield fights, Holyfield always came behind double jabs against the big guys.

Except for Lewis, Byrd, Brewster, Sanders and Purity.

They all got owned by Klitschko.

Lennox Lewis - Vitali dominated him, whooped his ass and scared him into retirement.

Chris Byrd - destroyed twice by Wlad and dominated by one armed Vitali.

Corrie Sanders - destroyed by Vitali.

Ross Purrity - annihilated by Vitali.

Lamon Brewster - was getting destroyed in the first fight, he's lucky Wlad was poisoned. In the rematch, Wlad completely dominated every round and made Brewster quit TKO 6

Yep, it's funny most of the people saying the Klitschkos would get destroyed by those guys, are the ones crying for a SHW division. They can't even be coherent with their own arguments
