I'm not sure who wins this, Margarito has been inactive for what will be over a year and for a fighter coming off a pretty bad loss, that's not a good look...and still I do think Margarito trains very hard and will be prepared come fight night. I really haven't made a pick yet, I'm neither here nor there...but if even the Margarito that fought Pac shows up, I think this fight will be quite entertaining.
i don't think its possible for this fight not to be entertaining, cotto has the biggest balls in boxing as far as picking opponents but he needed a break after pac. I dont think he's built for 154 though. and I think both are damaged good like someone else said.

im gonna be watching that's for damn sure.

Jonathon Stewart, from the 1st contender, told me the same thing.

He said Cotto hits like a mule, but Margarito has much heavier hands and wears you down.

      Sincerely,

      El Hombre!

Eh..The fighter in my sig is flawed and not liked round these parts but I'm not trying to be a part of the cool kids club so that's ok. 6 post in I can see I'm clearly a better poster than you. talk boxing or bounce homie.

cotto looked like garbage vs foreman, he tko'd a 1 legged, feather fisted dude about 4 rounds too late. yes he looked damn near shot. it's yuri freakin foreman!!!

          and I'm a cotto fan.

i thought both cotto and margs looked sharp thefirst couple rds vs pac, but pac is a completely different guy than either of those two. its not like margs chin gave out vs pac, its not like he got put on his ass a bunch.

cotto looked improved vs mayorga compared to yuri, but what's that really saying?
I never said Margarito can't take a punch because that is a fact he can take a punch but the dude is slow, easy to hit, predictable and with 10oz gloves I am not sure Margarito hits that hard. And yes he might take a punch but Pacquiao broke his orbital bone to the point the guy is always wearing shades. Cotto can punch no matter what Margarito says and even at 154 he can KO guys that are bigger.

I disagree Yuri is a mover you can't take a guy like that out fast he is like Malignaggi and let's not treat Yuri like some bum he was a world champion and beat Santos who was a good fighter.

            Talk boxing?

The bum in your sig was handled with care. Luis Callazo whooped his ass, and he got his ass whooped by a quittin' ass head butter....

What will Cotto think when he gets in the ring, and Margarito continues to hurt him and absorb his best shots? When he finds out it wasnt the "plaster" but it was the "WILL" of the other fighter that broke him?

the ghost of Margarito has appeared in a few of Cottos fight since July 26, 2008.... Clottey, Pacquiao, and it will appear in real form on December 3rd, 2011.

Cotto will kneel down again, just like the first fight, just like fellow Rican CalderPWNED, and like the bum in your sig.

            Sincerely,

            El Hombre!

bro, yuri had a torn acl in that fight, he was NOT a mover in that fight.

i can see this fight going wither way, but I'm worried about cotto.

You think Margarito will be able to walk through the stuff he did in the first fight? With that eye I'm not so sure. I am also not so sure Margarito will be able to get off if Cotto moves smarter in this fight. If it ends up being a situation where Margarito is taking big shots after the 7th I think we might find out he's not the same guy.

Are there no legit points? Has the ghost of Margarito not shown up in fights? If Im not mistaking, even the commentator mentioned that in the Clottey fight....

And really, whats gonna happen when Tony walks through Cotto's punches and delivers heavy, hard shots to Cotto, and Cotto figures out it wasnt plaster?

Did Cotto not take a knee? Did Calderon not take 2 knees? Did Berto not take a knee in the first round against a fighter who quit and head butted his way to a KO loss?

What part is not the truth? TELL ME!

                      Sincerely,
