I can't see how Manny could get off against Floyd

I don't want to go back but I will say it again range, if Floyd fights big and makes Manny pay for every inch of real estate he tries to take what is Manny going to do about that scenario given he isn't an inside fighter.

Manny will try to get to his spot but he has to be perfect while Floyd can be content to not let Manny get to that one spot because Floyd is at an advantage inside when Floyd is already good at controlling range. Plus he is Floyd not some guy that gives away advantages freely and in fact generally ruthlessly exploits any advantages he can get.

To me the fight is a nightmare scenario for Manny, he is a great fighter and he would need every ounce of that to overcome the issues he would face in that fight.

We know that Floyd was too slow to counter Judah, so he won't be quick enough to counter Pacquiao.

Floyd jab will be infective, all this points to Floyd fighting more aggressively, that will make it Manny's fight.

these are athletic guys, they didn't need any weeks or months to learn the technique of punching, it comes naturally, they can throw whatever punch
floyd throws the right hand majority of the time as a counter, if it's a lead, he's in trouble
with a counter, he has a good chance of keeping pacquiao's reach off of him

regardless, pacquiao also has his jab to the body, left to the chest and right hook to the head(staggered marquez in their rematch and dropped cotto)
it's anti shoulder roll basically that move, but will only work if floyd doesn't hit him with a counter right between it all
Manny not telegraphing has nothing to do with him countering a Floyd straight right hand which Clottey seemingly landed whenever he felt like it.

Also, Floyd defense is not solely reliable on the shoulder roll. He can switch between defenses depending on which is more effective. Against southpaws he likes to switch between the roll and the binocular.

Clottey lost every single round because he was too scared to throw in case he got countered.

pac is too fast to and ferocious to realy compare against any floyd opponents. the only way to know is when they get in the ring. If floyd fights pac the way he did ortiz then pac will have a lot of success. standing your ground against pac is suicidal. that gives him the opportunity to turn you and gives him the angles to punch.

People who say Floyd stops Manny are off tangent.

Aside from Manny's great footwork, power, etc, Manny has a granite chin, and is criminally underrated at that, and I'm surprised a good number of knowledgeable posters sleep on that fact.

Floyd has a chance to drop Manny if he goes inside the pocket and draw the inside for body shots, which is Manny's achilles heel.

But only if Floyd can come close whithout being tagged by power loaded combos at blinding speed.

That alone is a puzzle team Mayweather should consider when they finally gather some balls to fight Pacquiao.

And people need to stop dreaming Floyd can drop Pac, unless he sneaks one ala Ortiz.

                    We do?

What an infamous amount of imagination that fight holds for so many people.

In this fight what we see most.. is Floyds ability to adjust and counter punch.. which seemingly makes Zab shell up and call it a wrap.

Clotteys mindset has nothing to do with the point.

The point was... when he threw a right handed.. it landed.

Seemingly every time he threw it.

There was zero defense for it.

Clotteys lack of balls is another story.
