He's just not dis*****g where Gamboa is ranked. He's not saying he is better than Mikey, just recognizes he's higher ranked and rightfully so.

You know what? Maybe you're right. Maybe I am reading too much into it. But I do think that Robert's words don't sound particularly confident. It could be that it's just his manner of speaking. In any event, "ready" basically means "as ready as he'll ever be". Because Robert thinks his brother is ready doesn't mean he'll actually beat Gamboa. I think most of us agree that either of these fighters might beat the other, but that Yuri has the clear edge in odds.

I don't think Mikey will be able to deal well enough with Gamboa's abilities to win. Garcia is very well-schooled, disciplined and carries a good right hand. Yuri is faster, stronger and more athletic than Garcia or anyone Mikey has ever fought. It's going to be tough to find sparring partners that can come close to simulating Gamboa's traits. On the night of the fight, if it ever takes place, Mikey will be faced with an opponent on a level he's never even been close to experiencing. That no one can deny.

I think arum should think this in consideration, Better make this fight happen soon or It might end up the same as Gamboa - Juanma Megafight in the lower class!

I think a fight with Ponce - De Leon or Jhonny Gonzales will be good for Garcia before he Takes on Gamboa!

Forget Juanma now, he must take care of Salido first which I think he'll still lose
