ANYONE can get a KO when his opponent throws caution to the wind and begins swinging for the stands. The difference is that Hatton didn't try that with Mayweather until the end of the fight. He came out the gate trying to end it against Pacquiao. That was more a case of Hatton's taking a ****** chance than Pacquiao being an excellent counter puncher.

Ask Hatton who he thinks he'd have a better chance of beating given a second chance. He's already given the answer to that question in the press but I'm sure you already knew that.

Smarter not harder. The example you gave had no bearing on my point.
you said Manny will ALWAYS have a harder time and im just showing you it isnt true,he beat Hatton much easier and faster, styles make fights and his style will get the job done faster..Floyd breaks you down Manny just comes at you

PAc knows he needs to look better than floyd in beating JMM and he has to know a lot of people think he lost both. Add that to how JMM looked at this weight and I'm thinking this is gonna be bad for JMM.

Oscars fault and im glad he tried to cherry pick Manny when he was suppose to fight the winner of Cotto-Margo..but after he saw Margo walk thru Cotto he wanted no parts of that man

but he'd have a better chance without the extra weight.
At 140 I think it could be a classic. At 135(JMM) or 147 (pac) its a blowout.

the weight drained thing with oscar is blown out of proportion.

oscar actually threw more punches than pacquiao the first few rounds.

he was definitely affected by the weight but it wasn't the only reason that his ass got kicked

he looked terrible cause he was getting his ass kicked.

i remember the round by round discussion for the fight. people were saying oscar's carrying pacquiao and was gonna go for the late ko.

the weight drained issue came out when oscar said it weeks after the fight that it was the reason while he lost after initially saying that the weight didn't affect him if i remember correctly.

fact is, oscar was affected by the weight but he wasn't a "zombie" as people would believe.

Both of you have valid points, but come Ryannn, dude they were feeding Oscar on during his ring walk, the weight took a toll on him. That being said it was Oscar fault he agreed to the weight not manny's...

I agree with Atlas on May/Ortiz, Mayweather is accurate enough to break Ortiz down and get a stoppage. Although Ortiz being a very fast southpaw with great combos on the inside, and Mayweather's inactivity makes me give him a bit more of a chance then i would normally against May. Still see Mayweather winning by UD/TKO.

What I don't understand is his logic on the Pac/JMM fight, He says Marquez might be 40 years old, getting caught easier, and not as sharp as he used to be, but he still has a better shot at beating Pac?

If i honestly felt this way I wouldn't be giving Marquez much of a chance. Personally I don't think Marquez has declined more then just a hair, and as long as he puts on the right amount of weight he should give a great performance.
