it's big money and an honor to fight the most popular man in boxing. if you are in that position, you don't have to call out any boxer. If you really feel this way, then why should the guy whose been part of the largest grossing highest selling ppv in history call out Manny?

Thats all I'm saying. TR executed a brilliant strategy to move manny up, scarificing David Diaz and tolerating GBP to get Hatton in the ring knowing that win would make Manny look great. I may hate Bob, but Goodman knows what to do. He aint in the HOF because he's ******. And Bob is a ruthless successfule businesman.

TR, given the percentage they get from each fighter, made serious coin here. Bob wanted to do this with floyd, cotto, marg and clottey but floyd told him **** off i'm leaving. So he got the next best thing.

we've heard it all by now..fear of needles,asking for a 10 million dollar fine,needs a 2 week gap,needs a 1 week gap,then he only needs 3 days..then he files a lawsuit,then he supposedly agrees to the test,then comes back a month later says;he doesn't trust the USADA....

and those things are not made up those are all pacs statements..you can go and check..

The point is a request in and of itself is not a roadblock. But a refusal IS a roadblock.

I think now that we have seen Top Rank's strategy for MAnny at ww, it seems clear if they fought 2 years ago the TR round robin ww tourney wouldn't have been as financially successful.

if a fight doesn't happen because of some ****** demand that was never demanded in the history of boxing, then it IS a roadblock. if floyd was really interested in the fight, he would have asked the commission to look into it. looking back, it turned out, three years later, no evidence has been found linking pac to peds. it's so unnecessary. even then, floyd ran away when he sensed that pac was ready to call all his bluffs in the second round of negotiations. "i'm going on a looooong vacation", "i'm spending time with my family", "boxing is not even in my mind".

i'm just being real...if floyd did not bring up ost in the first negotiation the fight would have already happened. but floyd brought it up...if pac accepted it the fight would have already happened. was floyd required to demand ost? NO. was pac required to accept additional testing? NO. they're both divas and as long as their fans will fight for them the more they will become bigger divas.

Oh...I guess asking for 10 mil for every pound over is reasonable...HELL the fact that they asked for 50/50 purse split was a damn joke...in no way in HELL does Manny deserve 50/50 when Floyd has out sold him in every damn fight and the same will happen in September. Cool, but then you have the issue of convincing a government to conduct the testing. It is likely it wouldn't be an issue in the Phillipines being that he's such a big figure there and involved with government. But then we run into the issue of whether one should trust a government to do testing or a truly independent organization. I think the latter is better. So maybe Japan's agency?

Major problem here though, and it will certainly be one big issue in the next negotiation process, if there ever is one again. And it is a valid issue unfortunately.

are you serious...the commission? the same commission that has had the same drug testing policy for the last 20 years...think about it bro...like MLB they knew they had a problem but they turned the blind eye on it...unfortunatly it will take a fighter to die in the ring on fight night for commission to act...real talk!
