Didn't you see him on his scouting mission.

Pacquiao was always going after Marquez, Pacquiao like Ortiz and wouldn't want to ruin his career, and a fight with Pacquiao at this stage will ruin him.

After fighting 7 ruined fighters in a row it would've been refreshing to see Manny fight someone young, strong and fresh. Your excuses are not a good look for you or Manny.

I mean Ortiz has been literally bought. How much is Ortiz getting paid for this match again? Like 1/20th of what Floyd is going to make. Ortiz is like this skinny dog eating scraps that falls off Floyd table.
Answer: Beating an undefeated Andre Berto in dominate fashion for the WBC WW strap. Pretty impressive he was in that fight.

Didn't Khan say the other day and today that he needs a couple of more fights before he can step in the ring against Floyd? How can Floyd be ducking a guy who openly admitted that he is not ready for him? You guys are ridiculously reaching.

Don't see why so many boxing fans all geeked up about a potential Mayweather v Khan down the line when in reality Khan probably couldn't even get past Ortiz @ 147 imo..

I've noticed you have been a member on here from 2009, can you post us some thoughts you had on Ortiz before Jan 2011.

So we can be sure your view of Ortiz is not embellished just because Floyd is fighting him.

            Look forward to your response.

You know the routine dude, Manny will only fight Ortiz after he loses.

I thought Ortiz was talented but didnt have it in the chest. I picked Berto to beat him but he proved me and a lot of others wrong. Ortiz was a monster that night and determined to win, I saw it in his face when the fighters were being announced. That Ortiz would've beaten anybody (except Floyd) from 140-147 that night. He did the same thing Martinez did. Martinez today is not the Martinez who loss to Margarito neither is this the Ortiz that loss to Maidana.

Does it matter where Ortiz was then? I mean he upset an undefeated champion in his 1st appearance at the weight. I understand if people say Berto wasn't great, but he was favored. Ortiz got up off the canvas to win. I mean doesn't your accomplishments in the ring count more than biased fan opinion?

Floyd was likely there for Berto, who couldn't handle the pressure. Ortiz proved he is a good fighter. IS he great of course not. But you are only as good as your last fight. Ortiz showed he is a good fighter.

No I got Manny ducking from his and Arum's excuses for turning down the fight. Im sure you read them. According to Manny's response he didnt wanna see Ortiz across in the ring. Is this ****ing kickball or boxing. Ortiz said thanks Manny now let's fight. What's the excuse for Manny not fighting Berto? Berto was begging for a fight also.

lol at floyd fanboys always being taken for a ride by floyd. people have been saying that floyd came back from retirement not to prove anything. he came back because he needed the money to fix his money problems. he's been trying to enter into several business ventures with little success. he'd rather prefer to be a spectator rather than the spectacle. he was a huge pac fan. and now he's trying to make a star out of vargas. you will recall that after his fight with marquez he was set to fight m. hatton in england.

floyd won't be fighting khan, people, let alone the pacman.
