*sigh* i give up...i swear some of u just started watching boxing yesterday. amir khan is a 140lber. hes done absolutely nothing at 147 lbs. if floyd were to fight him there, what credit would he get? ortiz is a champion in the same weight class as floyd, that fight makes sense. the khan fight does not make sense rite now, even khan admitted as much. i mean seriously ppl criticized him for fighting hatton at 147 and hatton had a belt at 147! gtfo with that bull. the only reason ppl think that the fight is credble rite now is because they have this notion that khan would be a tough fight for mayweather. well, whatever.

Dude i wasnt jumping on your balls, you make a fair point ortiz is a champion at 147 thus is a legit fight but you didnt say that at first. However hes only had one fight so some could say the jurys still out on him still though it's a credible fight.

Mayweather says the things he says to get people talking and dabating generating interest in a possible fight i know this im not about to jump on no haters bandwaggon with some of the idiot's on here, i like most fighters and the chance of two fighters that i like fighting and putting up a good fight is something i want to see.

Floyd said Mosley couldn't sell tickets and was not a draw, but after they guaranteed him 22 million + PPV, the fight was made.

1. Taking a shot at Khan, when the question was presumably brought up by some reporter about all the talk Khan has been doing.

2. Trying to promote his fighter.



There is no reason why Floyd would duck Khan, Floyd has always dreamed about fighting in the U.K. and this would be an easy payday, like Ricky Hatton easy.

I'm trying to get out of you where you place Khan amongst the other challenges for Floyd apart from Pacquiao and Martinez.

I would say most people would have Khan on top of that list. And i'm sure even you would much prefer to see Khan vs Mayweather than Mayweather vs Spada.

Floyd legacy will be tattered by fights that never happened, he has missed far too many.

Mayweather saw what Khan did to Judah (who knocked Floyd on his ass and gave him hella trouble) and was like hell nah I don't want it with Khan. Amir's got better power, handspeed and footwork than Floyd.

I shall retire yet again like I did when the public demands a fight like against Pacquiao, Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and now Khan.
