He is just coming out of rehab and hasnt been a name in boxing for about a year and a half yet he is calling a mil peanuts... come on man.

He has always had this weird idea that he was some superstar though. I remember when the super 6 was starting up he said he wasn't going to enter in it because "none of the big names fight on showtime. Do you see Floyd Mayweather or Oscar De La Hoya on showtime." (something to that tune)

Dude still thinks he is the MW champ fighting for 950K a pop. He needs to wake up, he struggled against a bum scrub in his last fight; win a few then start to ask for more cash. 50K......minus all the payouts and stuff, he is still making about 20 to 30K for one night's worth of work.

I can understand Kelly being sour about the lowball offer from Interbox to fight Bute. After all Pavlik (sadly) is Bute's biggest test so far and he should be paid accordingly.

What I dont understand is the need to cancel the fight with Cunningham. Why not pick up the purse and continue the negotiations with Bute/Interbox?

So true...Kelly did say I'll let these guys (Super Six) beat each other up for peanuts and then I'll fight the winner. Maybe if he didn't become more interested in drinking and doing coke he could have prepared himself for that type of matchup. To bad the only name he beat was Jermain Taylor and then Taylor was KO by Abraham and Froch. Kelly lost to B-Hop/Martinez and both times Kelly had bronchitis (B-Hop) and then overweight and had to lose alot of weight close to the fight (Martinez). Why does this guy always have excuses. Nobody has mentioned, WTF are all those trailer park trash tattoo's he's got now. I was so distracted by these amature tattoos he covered his body with that I couldn't even pay attention to the fight (Lopez). I guess we can see what is more important to him and getting cheap tatt's.

Damn it kills me to say this because I was the biggest Pavlik fan. I was at the Pavlik vs Taylor I and II. Even after the lose to B-Hop I thought he would be okay. The lose to Martinez was in my opinion due to the cut. Now he's pulling out of a fight 5 days before a fight...that is fu'kin bullsh'it. Because of money, give me a break.

I used to like Kelly Pavlik. Now I say F*** this scrub. He is too mentally weak. These guys need to come back down to earth. Hes simply not a huge draw anymore. He needed to prove himself. Hes got balls talking about the super 6 guys, considering he would probably be KO'd by every single guy in the tourny, at this point, including taylor. Maybe if he wasnt in rehab he could have partcipated and proved his worth. Hes a white trash loser. F*** you, Kelly. This is from a former fan.
