I think so too, Vitali was able to land on Lewis at will, if it was Wlads punches, and power behind those shots, than I dont know how many of them Lewis would be able to take.
LOL,
Vitali showed HUGE chin in the Lewis fight.
You think Wlad would have went toe to toe with Lewis and survived?
There's only one problem I ever saw Wlad having, lack of stamina. As of his last fight, I see that problem solved. If he keeps going and building on his heart and power he will once again be a serious contender again. Too bad Vitali and Wlad vowed to never fight each other. Although, I probably wouldn't fight my brother either.

I certainly can see everyone's opinion of that fight. I am a big fan of both Lewis and Wladimir.
Lewis never faced a fighter who was 6'6 250 and highly skilled. That is about equal to Lewis' size.
Sure....comparisons can be drawn from the Grant fight. And I only say so...because Grant was one of the few people who Lewis fought that he did not have the size advantage over.
It is merely my opinion that Wlad would be all wrong for Lewis.
Virtually pickem in this situation because:
A) What would Wlad have done if Lewis landed something? Sure he might have been KTFO.
B) What would Lewis have done if Wlad landed the shooting right hand? I think fall unconscious for twenty minutes.
Wlad and Lewis IMO are having similiar careers. Lewis was tagged with a bad chin, but he came back and showed the haters his skill along with his chin.
Wlad fixed his stamina problem (mostly...), and he just beat arguably the biggest puncher in the division. I don't see anyone beating Wlad at this point, the only fighter that could beat him is Vitali and even then I dont see it happening.
Manny saved his career, now he's a MAJOR player in the HW division.

A VERY important factor in this hypothetical match up is when it would have happened.
Lewis fought a lot of big punchers, and when he was aware of the danger, and motivated, he was virtually unbeatable.
Wlad's chin would be a constant.
I think the chance of Wlad catching Lewis with a KO shot would be much less than Lewis landing a punch that takes Wlad's legs away and following up to stop him.
I think the odds would be a lot more in Lewis' favor then it being a pickem fight like the Peter one was.

More than likely.
And the only measuring stick used for this fight would be Ray Mercer himself.
Although old and virtually washed up, Wlad put on an impressive performance dismantling and stopping Ray...doing what he was supposed to.
I do realize it was six years after the battle between Mercer and Lewis, but judging by what Mercer said himself:
In that he had never been hit by a fighter that had that combination of power and handspeed.
Sure Lewis would be the favorite to win that fight.
But like you say.....it is all hypothetical and more than likely we will never know.
