What I don't get is this: If Vitali is a legend, but not of boxing, what the **** is this doing in non-stop boxing?

contrast to some opinions, i don't feel ll was horribly out of shape. perhaps a bit more ring rusty. but that's what training camp is for - preparation. lennox was preparing for better opposition than klitschko was anyways.
if a rematch were to have happened - what makes some of you people think vitali was going to get worst. i only hear mention of lewis getting sharper. even though there may be no one in the division of which vk can compare to as ll's level of fighting, vitali has not shown that he's gotten worse. he's even adding a few more new techniques. i don't see him getting technically worse. only better.

Yeah that is Nautilis. Why did he ask to be banned?

Why does someone need to do that for any reason other than some degree of self associated shame?

Lennox came in at 256 and 1/2 pounds in that fight. His normal fight weight was below 250. He was carrying an extra six+ pounds, considering that, at his normal weight near the end of his career, he was about 248 or so, that's 8.5 pounds. That's pretty damn out of shape.

i can't argue on his weight statistics, because i don't know his stats off the top of my head.
but, what comes to mind, is why have the last four people he fought have on here been considered to have came in out of shape.
meaning: all four of them - lennox lewis, kirk johnson, corrie sanders, and danny williams. why did they fight out of shape?

You can look at all his weights there. 245 vs Holyfield, 247 vs Grant, 249 vs Tua, 253.5 in Rahman I (Got KTFO), 246.5 in Rahman 2 (Knocks Rahman out, coincidence that his weight was lower? I think not), 249.25 vs Tyson, and 256.5 vs Vitali. That was the most he had ever weighed in any fight. He was definitely not in fighting shape.

i'm also adding that vitali(and wladimir) took their early promoters to court. they could've felt that they were not getting the best possible fights. it's definitely good that they made their own promotions company. better fights being made.
i wonder how don king feels about that? lol.
seems like he's having some troubles with his fighters.
