I think he was. The richest purse in boxing history is still DLH with 45 million against PBF. You actually believe that PBF made more money against SSM in a fight that sold 1.4 million PPV buys as opposed to DLH who had 2.4 million PPV buys?

I believe his guarantee for that fight was 22 mil. So unless he generated 48 million in PPV revenue he was lying about the 70 million number.

I'm not debating whether or not HBO needs a big PPV fight or not, which they do. I'm just skeptical that PBF is getting a guarantee twice the amount he got against SSM against someone with a lesser name and fan base.
