If it weren't for Cotto's lack of stamina, he would've had completely outboxed Margarito for 12 rounds, but he gassed out. Heck, Margarito even made Cotto looked like a defensive wizard in few moments in the fight. Margarito punches too slow, and too predictable to defeat Floyd. Some of you guys knows about the sport, but are really bad at analyzing styles matchups.

He doesn't not at all, not a single one of those fighters is even close to representing Floyd or the challenge he presents so your reasoning is non existent.

Trying to box and being a great boxer are two completely different things on top of that he did not even fight that many good technical boxers~

HA, floyd would just outbox him for 12 rounds, like he did Boldimir, he wouldnt be able to hurt him like manny, but he would just run and outbox

Eyes crossed LOL, pain causes a lot of reactions, body shots especially ones that take your wind do also effect your brain. No oxygen does funny things to the body, you should expand you google searches to learn some biology.

I never listen to announcers because I am watching for myself I don;t need to be told what happens.
you never listen to anyone or look at any other sources for information. thanks for finally admitting that. all you have is your own insight which time and time again has been proven faulty. maybe if you didn't shut yourself off from the rest of the world you would have more knowledge but at least you got yourself.

I form my own opinion on boxing, I don't base my opinion off others opinions. If someone knows what they are talking about I will hear them out and debate with them but I will stand by what I say. Sorry but I am glad someone like you feels that way, makes me feel better about how I look at things.

Announcer, writers, talking heads fuck'em all if you need them to validate how you feel then you really don't have an opinion.

this goes both ways. how many 5'11 fighters with the workrate, chin, power, inside game and determination did floyd fight? zero! you never see things both ways because you have floyd tunnel vision.

maybe floyd will just gatti margarito because you say so? i mean margarito did lose to rodney jones so that's a perfect representation of how good he was when he was the number 1 ranked welterweight right?. even though he beat guys much better than jones you still focus on that 1 fight that happened when he was 18. ignoring all the relevant evidence to focus on something irrelevant. great knowledge indeed.

Margarito does not fight tall so his height and length are a bogus factor.

Margarito does not have a great inside game either, he allows himself to get tied up.

Margarito does not have great power, he is not a one punch guy.

Chin doesn't win fights against a guy trying to out box you

Determination and work rate mean nothing if they can used to effect the other guy and Floyd would easily be able to negate Margarito's offense.

He wouldn't Gatti him because Margarito would not try and box him~ it would be closer to Baldomir who brought similar aspects to the fight. Floyd fought lots of guys who more closely resemble Margarito than Margarito did guys who represent Floyd.

Try again maybe google will give you a better answer this time~

Before the Cotto fight, I would have favored Margo over PBF. His style is just all wrong for Floydie. I can't imagine how PBF would manage to keep him off for 12 rounds. You need either size coupled with volumes of punches or punching power to try and slow him down.

I still wouldn't mind seeing Margo fight Floydie now, even if it is x amount of years late. I want to see how Floydie handles a pressure fighter, who has an iron chin, and an exceptional work rate. It's a shame his corner or the ref didn't save him from himself against Pacquiao.

i form my own opinion as well but you refuse to hear what other people are saying because you think you are right no matter what. your opinion can change based on the more evidence you gather but you refuse to gather more evidence.

watching fights is good but if you don't know what quality fighters the guys are fighting you can be fooled. you have to have some kind of bigger perspective. how many times have we seen a guy knock over a bunch of cans only to be exposed.

your primary goal seems to be defend floyd at all costs. your opinion has been compromised out of love for him. carlos rios and carlos gerena were top fighters in your mind so clearly something has gone wrong.
