Secondly, Wlad was in there against the hardest puncher of the past 20 years according to many people. I highly doubt he would hold and grab against anyone other than Peter.

Actually, I wasnt the least bit angry..bored? Definately..yawning my ass off, oh yeah. I was thrilled to see that peter can take a good punch and know that with the necessary adjustments and improvements he can and will make he'll go a long way. In every way except for his record this was a winning night for peter...now his chin is no longer a question ....along with the ko punch all the rest can be worked on. He learned alot in that fight, all of which will help him become a better fighter.

I choose Peter by KO based off of Wlads last fights where he ran out of steam and was KO'ed. Peter has the power but I knew he was very green. I choose Peter just because I thought he might catch Wlad.

In reality it really was not a close fight. Wlad went down 3 times, but because of Illegal punching and being off balance. He had the perfect game plan and nailed Peter with some seriously nice straight punches.

Imo however, people are entitled to their opinions, and telling them they have no balls and calling them foolish because they had their own ideas about the fight is moronic. Also , implying that people who do not attempt to " redeem their foolishness " are not men, makes you seem even more idiotic.

I choose Peter I was wrong, I admit it, but even if I hadn't , it does not make me any more foolish or less manly than anyone else on these forums.

No, but if I had been warned that I was going to watch John Ruiz fight, I wouldnt have been so disappointed.

I just feel that none of Wlad's fights will be but so boring...

That obviously depends upon your definition. Look at Bozo's thread with the gifs of Wlad getting knocked down the 3 times. Could they partially have been from a blow behind the head? Maybe. But now you're starting to sound like a little girl if that's the case. All 3 were properly ruled a knockdown, despite what lead up to them.The moment Wlad's knee touches the canvas, it becomes legit.

A knockdown is a knockdown... end of story. A person doesn't have to be physically hurt for it to be ruled a knockdown. Look at the Lacy/Reid fight as a recent example. At least 2 of the knockdowns by Lacy were clearly from simple punching force and not from Reid actually being injured or extremely dazed.

honestly guys, no one can diss wlad or peter. wlad won the fight fair and square, yes he got kd'd but he still had enough to pull it out. peter got beat, but he did what people expected, land a wild shot and knock him down. remember hes only 25 and still a green fighter. hell be back. wlads future is still there too. definite champion possibility. as far as wlad being able to beat anyone in the heavyweight division, no. if you remember right, hes lost 3 times recently. so he is for sure beatable by the three who beat him. i think lamon would beat peter too. vitali would beat peter. peter couldnt hit byrd. wlad cant beat lamon maybe byrd and not his bro. wlad isnt the best out there and neither is peter. id say wlad is 7th best hw out there and peter maybe in top 10. you guys over rate both of them. give peter 5 years and hell be top 3. give wlad 5 years and he may be retired or an inactive champion.
