Manny's best defense against a straight right lately has been to avoid fighters who throw good straight rights. It's no coincidence that Marquez was the last fighter he faced with a good one.

Manny is a great offensive fighter,no doubt about it,but you would be a fool to think he is the complete package.

This is the second time I've seen someone say someone will destory someone else. How does one destory a fighter?

Improved match making is what changed , ain fair fights he has struggled with the elite of the lower weights and he never stood above them , he now cherry picks when they are ripe , then impose handicaps to give himself the advantage ,,, your as hype blind as a WWE fan that pays money to watch that fake **** .

This match-up is a toss up because each guys strength and weaknesses is potentially playing directly to the other guys strength and weaknesses.

          Let me show you some examples;

-Floyd's philly shell defense is brilliant- in most cases. But against a southpaw like Pacquiao, that particular defensive stance leaves you wide open for two things; straight left hand and right hook.
This is why you saw Floyd keep both his hands up against Corley and Judah.
Floyd is not particularly effective in this style, mostly because he leans forward and puts himself off balance to the point where he moves rather slow on his feet.
Watch the two fights I mentioned for evidence of this.

-Pacquiao's punch activity is also brilliant- in most cases. Just not when you face a guy who wants you to throw punches. And Pacquiao throws his punches in rythms, which means he'll throw 1-2-1-2 (left-right-left-right hand) often doing so on the way in.
Needless to say, it's rather easy to "read" what's coming next.
Pacquiao is a simple fighter, but he's just too fast for most people to stop.
Couple that to his over-eagerness to land punches and you have yourself a risky style against a counter-puncher as fast as Floyd.

Bernstein and Dwyer has valid and good points, but concluding which one is most right is impossible without seeing the fight first. There are so many potential outcomes of a fight between these guys due to their styles.

I actually believe that Manny will be on his toes and firing off 2-3 fast straight punches at a time and then running away if they meet.
To me the most interesting part about this match-up would be how Floyd would go about it to slow Manny's feet down, because I believe that it would be in Floyd's favour if they were to stand in front of eachother.

lol u made me check the odds (in the UK) for Mosley inside 4 rounds. Only one website is offering it, and its 9/1. The same website is also taking bets on Mosley between rds 1-6. The odds? 10/1. that makes a lot of sense! Oh and the very same website is offering odds on Mosley winning by KO/TKO or DQ at any time of....10/1.

            wtf lol?

u can 33/1 on Mosley winning inside 3 rounds with another website.

That's not a smart bet, just pick Mosley to win at +645

Also, you could go by round, or by group of rounds here with better odds:

If Dwyer actually called some Pacquiao fights right maybe his words will hold a little more water.

But he calls them wrong time and time again, not only the prediction but the analysis.

It seems he is letting his personal feelings about Mayweather/Pacquiao affect his predictions/analysis

He did make some very good points based on facts and the past history of the fighters.....pretty objective, I might go watch the Bernstein vid to compare.

probably wont be putting anything on mosley unless i see some crazy odds. (saw mosley at 15/1 for a stoppage on betfair, if it goes up to about 20 i'll probably stick a tenner on it on the of chance)

Was just laughing at skybets range of odds. offering smaller odds for mosley winning inside 4 rounds than mosley winning inside 12. Makes no sense what so ever
