The Racket Squad: Money In The Tank
Roy will travel to Moscow and take the beating of his life because he did not look ahead to a life without prize fighting.
He won't make enough to cover this debt and his HBO gig sure can't.
This type of fiscal tragedy occurs in other sports but appears to be most visable and horrific in boxing.
Erik Morales will soon discover the severity of remaining a guest at the banquet too long.
And De La Hoya will lick the blood from El Terrible's already impaired senses.
I'm starting to feel like the late, great Cosell.
The exploitation of human flesh and soul is becoming too harsh an aroma.

Well, now we know why Jones Jr keeps fighting. With all the money he earned, this is really sad...

I live in Santa Rosa county and they're knocking on everyone's door wanting money. I paid my taxes for my business (gym).
Its funny all these clowns dogging Mayweather like he's the only American who owes taxes. Lol, compared to other boxers Floyd's got nothing on them.
Roy's got money and is only fighting because of heart and pride... I know, he's got the money that's for sure. Hopefully he clowns this fool in his hometown and becomes a full time HBO commentaotor.

It's unfortunate to say the least. Roy "seemed" to be one of the more intelligent fighters... I have to say it's surprising he's faced with this situation. Fortunately there are some fighters who are secure financially. Sugar Ray Leonard,. Ali, Lennox Lewis, George Foreman. It's a sad situation for Roy because his body is spent and with this news being released the press is going to mock him every step of the way. Hopefully, he's not facing a situation as bad as Holyfield.

Seeing fighters in Jones' predicament makes me sick. All I can do is better handle my own finances so I don't have to work until I'm 87. Roy made millions of dollars throughout his career. There is no reason for him to still be fighting in order to pay off the IRS. He should have handled his money better.
