Only thing I might disagree with is the conclusion that boxing died and the notion of government oversight. Please ... we don't need more government in this country. And, what about other countries? It simply cannot be done fairly. We are going to have to accept the fact that money runs the show and that is not always a bad thing. In fact, in many instances, greed for money produces a much purer product. IT WAS BUSINESS that produced this decision. A terrible decision, but was it good for boxing?? MAYBE IT WAS. The fact is that the paying boxing public's obsession with a Floyd v Pac fight was sucking the air out of the sport...BECAUSE that bout will not happen. Floyd will not risk the undefeated goose egg to fight Manny Pac. THIS IS THE TRUTH.
So, in a circumspect way of thinking, it may be that this decision will not cause boxing to "die", but in fact revive it. For 4 years we've been pining for the fight. It's not gonna happen. The business of boxing is putting an end to it. It is a shame that the good guy had to take the fall, but that is just the way it is. It shoulda been Floyd cause he's the cherry picker here. We all know it. The boxing public knows it.
When you look at the way boxing is ran, it's based on the promoters and their ability to make the best fight, which in turn should net them the most money...right?
Wrong, what has happened in the last 15 years in boxing has been the opposite. There's no more cross promotional fights being made anymore, it's top rank with top rank and Gb with GB and so on. That's not the way boxing should be because it creates monopolies and takes the big time fights away from the fans. Arum is content to make smaller fights like Bradley vs Pac, because he makes a ton of money and he doesn't have to shell out major money for a Mayweather fight.
The system that should be leaning itself towards giving the best fights for the most money, is backfiring in boxing. Don't dismiss the govt stepping in and it's been talked about. Sen. John McCain is a huge fan of boxing and has been suggesting this for over 20 years now. We cannot continue to let these commissions like the one in Texas to run wild and allow the promoters to have as much power as they do.
Boxing is in big trouble people, it's not about PPV numbers, it's not about countries who support it, it's about the integrity of the sport and even the most skeptical people and conspiracy theorists are now starting to look like the people of reason and that's scary.

8-12 Bradley, seriously just watch it without the sound. Its just like the Floyd Cotto fight, I was really watching the fight and had to mute the HBO COMMENTATORS....
Seriously guys just rewatch it without the sound... I swear you will come to the same conclusion...
The judges are not listening to lampley and crew. Its just like the ortiz fight when lampley was giving ortiz props for hitting floyd when floyd was clearly and cleanly hitting him. I am not hating on pacquiao at all... But Pacquiao has been given a decision in his last fight. I honestly had it at a draw, but I could also see how it could go either way. Had manny been given teh nod, I would be on here telling you guys to rewatch teh fight...
Mark my words, when they fight again in November, this time Bradley will beat him more convincingly. We know Bradley doesnt have the power Pac has, but thats not what really wins fights. Now his leg was also jacked up.... Pac is going to beaten even moreso. I wouldnt be surprised if Pac fought Marquez instead of Bradley next. I know they have the rematch clause etc. But mark my words, Arum is not going to pursue this at all.. Because its obvious if you dont have the commentation...
Everybody can keep takin that Pac **** Bradey domnates the rematch, I don't gamble but I got money on Tim next time around.
