Most countries, not just America, like athletes who entertain them and know how to play cute behind the camera.

There's no denying that America simply doesn't have patriotism when it comes to boxing like other countries do.

I have more boxing friends than I would care to count, and 99% of the time, they cheer american...No matter who is fighting.

American boxing fans have alot more pride than you or Floyd are giving them credit for.

The thing is though, Pac (and Cotto for that matter) have done two simple things that americans love. 1) They have a fighting style that appeals to the eye (not saying Floyd doesn't. I love the way he breaks fighters down peice by peice)...

2) They learned english (or at least attempted. Most fighters from other countries don't even bother) ...

I don't even care what Floyd said on the radio show, I just think that statement you made was very shallow, and border line offensive. Just cause Floyd doesn't feel loved in america, doesn't mean we americans lack patriotism.
