Even if Mayweather comes out unscathed with his legal troubles (which keeps getting postponed by the way), there's no way he comes back and goes straight in to a fight with Pac. He will take a tune-up, no doubt. IF, and that's a big IF, this fight ever really does happen - I doubt it happens any sooner then 2012.

I completely agree with your weight assessments for Pac/JMM, I've been saying the same thing. I believe the real reason Pac came in so low for the 150lb fight with Margarito was he said he felt he was loosing speed. And that will be yet another reason why I doubt Pac would come in any higher then 144 for a fight with JMM also. Very possibly even lower. But Roach and Koncz have been very adamant about not agreeing to fight below 147 (officially). As I've said in the past, I don't see it as a big deal because neither one of them HAVE to come all the way up and I doubt either of them will. The 147lb demand will be part of the deal for a JMM/Pac fight though, some people will discredit Pac for it but I don't see it as a deal breaker or a huge issue.

IMO: IF PAC CAME IN AT 144LBS FOR A 150LB FIGHT AGAINST A GUY WHO OUTWEIGHED HIM BY 17LBS, HE SURE THE HELL ISN'T GOING TO WEIGH MORE THEN 144LBS AGAINST A SMALLER GUY WITH SPEED. WEIGHT SHOULD NOT BE A BIG ISSUE. Making the fight at 147lbs is all politics. :IMO

They seems to think that PAC will out weight Marquez by 17lbs if they fight at welter. 147 to PAC and Marquez just mean that they will train and not worry about weight problem, eat whatever they want....in Marquez case it's drink whatever they want.

Yup.. people blinded by their hate. If anything it would benefit Marquez, he'd be able to focus more on strategy and less on cutting weight. The same benefit that Pacquiao now has.. Should be an interesting fight that looks like is going to happen.

Marquez is a bum who doesn't deserve a third match with Pacquiao. He literally lost both previous fights against him but because a ****** judge doesn't know how to score a fight Pacquiao gets a draw on his record. And we know that when Marquez fought Mayweather 95% of those buys were for Mayweather not piss breath.

And then Marquez already priced himself out before Pacquiao signed to fight Mosley. If he does that again than Pac should say "**** you, go fight on telemundo while I sell another million PPV's."

You are right, it is ridiculous - and some people will NEVER give him credit. But it is what it is.

And as far as Marquez agreeing to fight at 147, I think he's the only one NOT complaining about it. HE doesn't seem to think it's an issue and has repeatedly said in the past that he will fight Manny at 147. And besides that, he's looking for his 4th title in 4 divisions so he's looking to do something great for himself here too. He can train like he always does and still fight for a 147lb title.

Side note: I still think when JMM fought Mayweather at 146lbs (or whatever it was supposed to be) that he didn't put the weight on properly. He looked fat rather than muscular. Whose to say he can't get himself a proper conditioning coach and try to do it better?
