But just to keep it fun, here are some other guys I have zero respect for because they don't fight anyone:

    Andre Berto
    David Haye
    Joe Calzaghe

and up until one month ago, Nonito Donaire
    really?

you need to understand that the fighters have nothing, zero, nada to do with matchmaking unless youre your own promoter.

Americans have no interest in fighters from Europe. So European fighters stay at home defending their titles doing big cash. They are keepin boxing alive up there. The arenas, stadiums or whatever are always sold out and the TV ratings are huge.

If he doesn't fight, nobody makes money. That's a 2-way street between him and his promoters. They both want to make money. He doesn't fight, neither makes money.
You probably haven't heard him call out anyone because who the **** keeps up with Ukrainian fighters? You probably don't. He call out Williams over a couple years ago and tried to make the fight if you want an example. Williams ducked him and fought a shot Winky instead.

He moved up in weight and lost to one of the best fighters on the planet. He can still do business at 154. ***y is just too good for anyone at 154-160

DoktorSleepless explained it in the post right before mine

He was in court instead of the ring because of his promoter universum

In most cases I'd agree with the TS, but in Dzinzurik's case, this is the right answer. He had to go through what Gennady Golovkin is going through right now. There are plenty of European titleholders to criticize because of this (Sturm, Sylvester, Sechenko, Zaveck, Brahmaer, Huck, Zbik, Sartison, etc.), but Dzinzurik is not one of them. He's of the Kotelnik mold.

The point is I'm tired of these Euro/Western Asian trash fighters with inflated records coasting along trying to make some easy money and avoiding big names until they're ready to cash out. He's in his mid 30s, so yeah, he probably doesn't feel like boxing anymore. So he took one shot at the end of his career and got completely embarrassed. On the other hand, you have guys like Martinez and Winky Wright who have been actively trying to get big names their whole career, FORCED to fight in ****ty Europe just to make some form of money whatsoever.

I have no respect for guys like Dzinzurik, Sturm and especially Calzaghe hiding in Europe until they realize their careers are over before they take a shot at a meaningful fight. You can always make money in Europe, but you can't build a really strong legacy when you're in your late 30s.

Calzaghe's best wins = 43 year old Hopkins, Mikkel Kessler (who was much more dominated by Andre Ward) and a shot Roy Jones Jr. If that is a legacy, then Hatton must be considered a god in Britain.
funny thing is you mentioned the guys who completely dismissed guys who has been considered best of the division, stars, etc.

                  Calzaghe beat Lacy in fashion

Sturm beat DLH with easy, but his style was not respected. hes not the big puncher, or come forward bull.

Dzinziruk beat Santos. Jes Santos back in the day was givin Maragrito hell etc

Maybe because they go to america and get robbed like sturm did, he beat a prime de la hoya, look what happened to kotelnik, he beat alexander but got jobbed too, a lot of fighters know they will need a KO if they want to get the nod in the states, thats just the way it is

Why are you slagging off dzinrzuk or whatever his name was, he just had a good win over santos who is a good fighter and id say he could still be very competitive at 154 if he keeps going, he lost to a great fighter in sergio, happens all the time

Look at martinez himself, he was robbed against cintron in florida and given a 119 - 110 decision against him in the first williams fight!! Unless you got powerful backers or can KO your opponent the states may well be a graveyard for you
