Pinoys dont deserve another great fighter like Donaire

The way the philippine media blasted him for not having a good relationship with his father while propping up how great manny pacquiao is for getting along with his dad was one of the most hypocritical & disgusting acts of sporting journalism i have ever witnessed.

Now that he's winning, i guess its all good?

    You pinoys dont deserve donaire.

You tend to generalize too much. Media isn't exactly the same 30-40 years ago, when they bother to triple-check the facts before they spew their venoms.

might as well. these guys have no objectivity whatsoever when it comes to pacquiao. its ok for fans to do that, but the media? you might as well employ *******s on nsb. there's no difference.

if you are a sports writer, you write about sports. that's it. you dont lambaste them for not getting along with their father.

It happens everywhere. Just look at Kobe, a few years ago he was one of the hate athletes in the country, now he's the most popular. People have short memories...as long as you're doing something they like.

How do Pinoys "not deserve" him when he is one of us and chooses to represent the Philippine flag instead of the American one? And you're right, it's silly of the media to blast him, but that's culture for you. I remember watching a Pac fight with Filipino broadcasting and they were completely egging on the opponent for not being "well-mannered" simply because he wasn't pinoy.

The parents are thieves and Rachel is still a b1tch.
